> 3 dayI have an entertainment center unit with glass doors that I prefer to keep closed, but my 100 watt / channel receiver puts out too much heat without ventilation. I bought this AC Infinity S8 and that did the trick very nicely. I particularly like the smart mode that adjust the fan speed as needed, and it’s a perfect companion to my upstairs entertainment receiver.

> 3 dayWorks great, cant hear it when its running on the low fan setting. Configured it with the automatic mode and it turns on and off as needed. So far its never had to run the fans past low. Great price, looks at home with audio equipment. Very good build quality for the low price. Definitely exceeded my expectations at this price. Will be recommending to any of my audio friends that need to add cooling into their systems. Should I ever need more cooling in any of my home theater or stereo systems this is not my first choice for a solution.

> 3 dayHad concerns about new Denon AVR running hot based on other reviews. With Aircom S8 receiver never becomes hot. Can sometimes hear fan running if no audio present, however fan noise is minimal and has never distracted from audio or visual. Unit has a pleasing look to it. It is a simple product that works well and looks good in Home Theatre setting.

> 3 dayI don’t know when it is on, which is good. I leave it on step two of power, turn off the optional spinning light, and place black electrical tape over the one LED. It is very, though not entirely, quiet. I have to get up to feel the air moving through the unit to the back of my open to the back cabinet, to make sure that it is on and working. Very satisfied so far.

> 3 dayWorks well for my Marantz 5006 that is on all the time. The receiver runs quire warm at idle, and has had issues with going into temp protection in heavy use, and I was worried about longevity. My enclosure doesnt give nearly the amount of air space the manual requires. The profile of this cooler fits perfectly with the curved edges of the receiver, and at 1.5 tall it just fits in the tight space in the cabinet. It even matches the depth of my receiver perfectly. I leave it in smart mode at 1/4 power, and its basically inaudible and provides probably more airflow than the amp would get in free air. I havent put it to a heavy test yet with extended loud music listening, but in a light test it didnt kick up over a quarter power. At full tilt I would think it would provide some serious cooling. It gets somewhat loud at full tilt. I wish the light on the front wasnt so bright. Overall it seems like a good deal. Much better integrated than any fan setup I would have ghetto rigged up.

> 3 dayWorks just as advertised. My multi channel amplifiers get extremely hot and I needed a cooling option. After installing 2 Ac Infinity S8 cooling fans, my amps are cool to the touch. Instead of relying on the auto on feature based on temperature, my fans are triggered as soon as my amps are turned on. This is possible because my power conditioner has triggered outlets and works flawlessly. They run continuously as long as my amps are on and on the lowest setting is barely audible from 5 ft away. Great product and cost effective way to protect your equipment.
