> 3 dayI have a Eico ST70 tube amp in a cabinet, and let me tell you, you could fry an egg on this thang! This fan is Rock sold and does the job to keep it cool. Second one I purchased, little pricey but worth it to protect your gear!

> 3 dayI assume its doing its job well as my Marantz NR1607 hasnt caught on fire yet. It disappears well when sat on top of your receiver and is relatively quiet when under normal load. The automatic fan mode is really convenient for self regulation. Its definitely a niche product for those looking to protect their high end gear so its more of an insurance product than anything. Just be sure to dust around your gear regularly!

> 3 dayInstalled this on top if my Denon arv in my small media cabinet. I have a temp sensor inside the cabinet as well(labeled kitchen as I never changed the name of the sensor) to monitor temp as to not overheat the components. The results were immediate. That morning I watched a few movies, delivery came on Sunday with the aircom S8. After installation and setup I snapshot what the sensor read, it is a wifi sensor that runs to my phone. The results were more than what I expected. I used the smart cool(or whatever they call it) feature out of the box and within an hour or so the temp leveled off to room temp, plus whatever heat the components give off in the cabinet. During movies the fans move from; off, 1,2,3,4 speed. Out of the box on smart cool it was running at 4. Moving some serious heat away from the Denon. As time went on it stabilized the temp and wandered between off, 1 and 2, cannot hear the thing run at 2 even with no doors on the cabinet. All said well worth the insurance. Definitely, I will buy again without hesitation.

> 3 dayWell made like a industrial computer or HiFi gear. Looks like it belongs with the rest of the system. Cools well and quietly. I only use the lowest 2 speed settings because thats all thats needed for my amplifier. The top two speeds would be too noticeable for me. The rear exhaust works well for my setup. I have been using homegrown improvised cooling until now, this is much better.

Greater than one weekI just installed my 3rd S8 unit, this time on a vintage 1976 Kenwood KR-6600 Receiver. I have two other units on my Kenwood KR-9600 and my Onkyo TX-NR797 AV receiver in my sound room. I would not trust my vintage or current equipment to any other company. AC Infinity products are simply as good as it gets, and I no longer have to worry about overheating, even from units known to have that problem. I love the fact that this S8 unit sits on top of my receivers and allows me to place a vintage turntable on top without any issue. Ive have the two other units running for a couple of years without any issue. As my headline says, these are incredibly high quality products from a first class company. Build quality is superb, reliability is first rate, and the prices are really unbelievable for what you get! If you have vintage audio equipment, you can trust that AC Infinity Aircom S8 is a high quality, cost-effective solution to overheating problems. Five well-deserved stars!!!!
