> 3 dayPleased with how quiet it is. In auto mode it comes on at 14 speed and ramps up to 1/2 speed and shuts off automatically when amp is turned off after it cools down. On full speed it is loud, and volume would need to be turned way up. This replaced a cabinet that had 4 120mm computer fans that I could always hear running.

> 3 dayHad concerns about new Denon AVR running hot based on other reviews. With Aircom S8 receiver never becomes hot. Can sometimes hear fan running if no audio present, however fan noise is minimal and has never distracted from audio or visual. Unit has a pleasing look to it. It is a simple product that works well and looks good in Home Theatre setting.

12-06-2025Great product. I use this on top of my Denon receiver to help keep it cool. Works wonders to keep the receiver cool as it heats up quite a bit during regular use. I also have an AC infinity Airplate mounted in the back of my entertainment stand pushing this air out the back of the stand. Together these work wonders. Highly recommend the S8 to anyone that wants to keep their receiver cool.

> 3 dayI recently purchased one of these to augment my hanging rack installation. I bought a new Denon AVR-X6500 and it runs awfully hot in the enclosed rack. I added this fan and it dropped my rack temps by almost 10 degrees F. Before I installed it the new Denon would be hot to the touch. Now the entire chassis is cool to the touch. Im sure the addition of this fan will extend its life as its no longer even slightly hot.

> 3 dayHi music heads , I got this S8 to cool my new Marantz p m 5005. It runs quiet. Just got it 2 days ago so still messing with it. I put it on half speed -auto. It comes on, cools the amp down, it goes off.
