Fantastically easy setup, sufficient processing speed, webcam, HDMI port, HD screen display and not too much bloatware preloaded. A great little powerhouse with a very reasonable price, Im sold so far!

I like it, theres really nothing that I dislike.

Great value, set up and out of S mode in minutes. fast enough for Netflix, You Tube, and general use. NOT A GAMING COMPUTER and was never intended to be one. At this price point this computer is about as good as it gets. My Granddaughter loves it.

Bought this with the webcam bundle, two weeks later screen randomly wont turn on no matter what I do. Got a replacement, works fine for the first day and second it looks like that. Half the screen is dark, the other half is full brightness.

I bought this laptop for when working at home. It has a very fast startup. The HD screen is crystal clear, long battery life and not too heavy to carry around

This is the 2nd Acer computer received from Amazon. First one was returned because battery was defective. Had this 2nd computer for approximately 10 weeks and had to factory reset. Computer was telling me that I was connected to my Wifi but couldnt sign in because no Internet connection. My Chromebook connected just fine. Spent 45 minutes attempting to connect to Internet, shutting computer off several times in hopes it would reset or something. Power button also was not cooperating, turned off fine, but needed several attempts to restart. Had power button pressed several times for 15 - 20 seconds waiting for something to happen. Usually took 3 or 4 attempts to start. Finally shut if off and walked away for an hour. Praise be, it finally allowed me to connect to Internet. I immediately factory reset, hoping this will fix the situation. I attempted to return this piece of garbage to Amazon, sadly couldnt. I understand this computer only cost $300, but all I use it for is email, Amazon and catching up on world news. Last laptop I had was also a $300 Lenovo purchased 4 years ago. It finally died. That 4 year old Lenovo laptop was better than this Acer. Wish I would have purchased Lenovo brand again. Nothing but regrets with this purchase. Christmas is here. If I find a great deal, $300 limit, on a Lenovo or HP I will definitely purchase and keep this Acer as a backup. Waste of money, waste of time. Two Acer laptops and both were garbage. Will never buy this brand again, and will always recommend against purchasing

I was surprised to discover the battery is embedded, in other words cant be removed. There is a process to charge the battery fully so it will take a full charge throughout its life. You have to drain it until it reaches about 18%. A popup should warn you when you reach this battery level; instead you have to keep checking. Not used to babysitting this computer, the battery ended discharging completely. I thought connecting the adapter would get the computer up and running. Not so. I placed a call to Amazon tech support and learned about battery reset located on the bottom of the computer, a tiny pin-hole that you press a toothpick into for four seconds to reset the battery. Then you need to long-press the power button for ten seconds to boot it up. Today I had about 76% battery power left and closed the lid briefly and it turned off. It took another battery reset and long-press to get it going again. Chrome tells me it didnt shut down properly, click to restore tabs. Something with Alexa too, doesnt quite work properly. So it was a software glitch that caused the problem. I dont expect this to be the last time this happens.
