Great computer at decent price. Operates as basic computer and is not touch screen. Purchased for daily use and not for gaming. Starts up quickly and so far no issues

Be very careful to fully test this laptop before Amazons return window closes. Acer shipped mine with the MediaTek MT7921LE wifi card, and it would repeatedly fail to connect to access points, regardless of their proximity; when it did connect, it would manage 1-3Mbps, again when in the same room where other clients attach to the AP at 150Mbps or so. When I say research, Google that wifi card, youll see multiple problems described. Failed for me under both Windows as shipped and Linux Mint (either booted Live or installed from scratch). Windows failed whether using the Windows Update driver or the driver from Acers own web site. You should be okay if your laptop ships with an Intel or Atheros wifi card, but if its MediaTek Id be very wary. Only way (that I know of) to tell which device you have is to open Device Manager under Windows and check the details under the Network Adapter section.

This computer is lightweight and fast. It’s great for me as a student.

Windows 11 is terrible with continuous ads popping up which interferes with what I am trying to do. S mode is a great hinderance to loading needed apps. getting machine to work with printers is a herculean task. It would keep saying the printer is offline or shut down when it wasnt. Then it might work for one day before starting the nonsense over. Finally the the mouse function as well as the scroll function ceased to operate. So the machine is locked up on the last page of you tube I was viewing. The latter problem appeared two days after the return window closed. Piece of junk on all counts.

The notebook itself wors fine, for personal use it`s ok, but it came with broken screen and couldn`t return it

I dont game, nor do I use it on battery only. Yes, the weight is decent. It is quick to turn on and functions well. I use it with an added keyboard.

The first one we got, the power supply would get so hot the thermal interlock would get triggered and it would shut down, also the computer would not stay connected to 5G wifi. Sent it back.

I really like this compact, fast, efficient laptop for browsing and other work.

It does what I need it to do. Email, Web search, games and Facebook. Please dont ask me about other functions or uses because I dont know.
