> 3 dayThe hardest part about installing this bracket was drilling the holes - but that was because of how I installed it. I wanted my AC unit outside of my window, so I could still shut the window. I did this by creating a plywood baffle that I could insert inside the recesses for the screen. I removed the screen, put the baffle in, then used putty tape to seal it up around the edges. To mount the AC unit and bracket this way, meant I had to drill and mount the bracket on the outside brick/block sill of my window. So with some research, I settled on using some carbide bits to drill with, and special blue anchor screws. I quickly found that: a) you want to drill the block dry b) you want to periodically use canned air (or a compressor) to blow out the hole as it fills with dust If you dont do those steps - you end up with the drill only going so far, then not going any further. So drill, blow out the hole, drill some more, etc - until you get to the depth needed. But other than that difference, I followed the instructions just as they were written, and things went together really well and fast. Ive had the bracket up for about 2 weeks now, and it works great. It only took a couple of hours to install (I took my time, as I didnt want to mess up the block), then a few more to make the baffle (a week or so later, I caulked it, painted it, then re-installed it properly - but I did use it for a week without all of that). The only other extra thing I did was add a couple of L-brackets to the holes, to keep the unit from potentially sliding backwards. Overall, the install turned out great, and Im very pleased with the product.

> 3 dayOne of the hardest things I have put together. Instructions were not clear (noted, I received different instructions from someone else’s photo…mine was missing half the labels and had an awful description of which nuts and bolts to use). It’s definitely sturdy, but no more sturdy than a regular bracket. I don’t understand why these are more than double a good regular bracket. But I paid because I didn’t want to drill and there were zero cheaper options.

> 3 dayDislike directions. Definitely sturdy. But now my unit leaks a lot down side of my wooden house all day long.

Greater than one weekThe connections once completed are solid but the side to side and depth adjustment procedure are unnecessarily burdensome and when you’re done the end of the interior braces have a vertical piece that is in the way of the air conditioner’s side panels

> 3 dayFirst off I reviewed the 1 star comments and I agree the instructions stink but that does not merit a one star rating. If we made it thru high school we were given the tools to figure some stuff out on our own. There are about 10 metal parts and plenty of pics showing different views on the Amazon web page. There are only two different nuts so you have a 50-50 chance of getting it wrong. As for the pic of the swinging bracket you have the feet on the wrong end. I mounted this in the window of a fifth wheel camper and worked great and should work in just about any window application. Although a bit pricey it is made of a good gauge of steel and feels quite strong. The first order was missing the feet & pads but they took care of the problem right away. I give it 4 Stars.

> 3 dayIt is a good, sturdy bracket, especially at that price. It takes a little bit of skill at assembling things to put together and was a bit more of a project than I anticipated, but I had it done and set in about half an hour.

> 3 dayTook over 1hr to put together then once everything was good, we sat the ac on it, in hopes the whole thing didnt slide off the window Frame because was holding it from shifting sideways. The ac had huge gaps on the under part where it sits on the frame and the window. Horrible

> 3 dayI use this for a small window AC unit on my molded fiberglass RV. I had to use different holes for the legs due to the rounded shell to make it level. Works great. I have no fears this will come off during use and destroy my AC unit. Once set up it is super fast and easy to install and remove. A bit pricey but worth the peace of mind.

> 3 dayDo yourself a favor, go to YouTube and watch the instruction tutorial for this. The instructions are a nightmare to understand, and there are random pieces included (anchors that are different sizes and wouldn’t fit into the holes you are suppose to drill with a VERY specific drill bit). I was trying to start the install of this based on the directions alone and I was VERY close to hiring someone. Then I watched the video tutorial that was about 2 minutes long and it took me about 10 minutes to get in (probably would have gone faster, but I have a VERY curious 3-year-old). Otherwise, it does what it is suppose to, ad helps to support our 6500Btu 58lb air conditioner.

> 3 dayFrom what I can see, the materials used in this project seem sturdy and durable enough to withstand the elements in the long run. However, accessing and aligning screws and nuts in certain areas can be challenging due to design flaws. Additionally, the instructions only provide a generic list of necessary tools such as wrenches and sockets without specifying the required size. This, along with the inadequate design, can result in wasted time and effort when constructing what should have been a relatively simple device.
