> 24 hourBecause I have an older Kindle, I was concerned about finding a replacement. This works perfectly and Im happy to have a recharger that can also connect and recharge my kindle from my computer as well as a wall socket. (I can use that when overseas)

> 24 hourThis is exactly what I needed and wanted without driving to a store. I had already been to one big box store which didnt carry replacement cords for Kindle. Shipment time was quick. Thanks!

> 24 hourCharging cable. After using this cable to recharge my battery no more than four times the connector on the Kindle end came apart. The bottom half of the casing just dropped off. I didnt notice until trying to charge that it was missing and was lost. I had to buy a new one. You promised to refund the purchase price but you have not. I received this Kindle for Christmas last and it is not yet a year old. Id sugest you demand your supplier use a better method of connecting the two sides of the plug housing. You are liable to shock someone with a failed connector. I would appreciate the refund of $26.97. Billing was Aug. 11-12. Ray Routh

> 24 hourThe only problem I have with this is that I didnt need a second cord, just the adapter plug. I think Amazon should sell these separate. Heck, I probably would pay the same price for just that.

> 24 hourWhat a terrible product!! Ive never seen anything like this before. I have two cables. Both I bought at the same time Ive purchased my Kindle, March 22nd 2009. Today, after a month that I didnt use my Kindle, I reached the cable to charge it and its cover was falling apart, all cracked up.. Then I look after my other cable that I have in my backpack and it had the same issue. It seems like a lot of people are having the same problem. Amazon should send a new cable to everyone. That is the least I expect from a company like Amazon. Take a look at that: [...]

> 24 hourI misplaced my powercord to my Kindle and was facing not having it for several weeks. I ordered online and received it the NEXT day! I am very impressed with the quick delivery and Amazons ability to keep feeding my addiction to the amazing Kindle.

> 24 hourThe power cord is nice, however I just bought the Kindle in Dec, and had to replace it 6 months later. For such an expensive item the cord should last longer.

> 24 hourI have two of these. One came with my Kindle and one I ordered as a spare. The white plastic sheathing has turned brittle and is falling off. This makes both cables completely unusable. One is about 30 months old. The other is about 38 months old.

> 24 hourMy charger fell into a black hole somewhere,or was borrowed by some Kindle person in my family - so instead of having a knock down drag out inquisition to assess blame, I just ordered a new set-up. Arrived in three days, and works like a charm. No muss, no fuss, family relationships intact!

> 24 hourThe product is OK,but for a client living in Brasil, the cost of freight +the duties make it very expensive.
