> 3 dayWhile it was not the original kindle charger from Amazon the charger works perfectly with my kindle. I am quite happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayEven though this was purchased as a used device, when it arrived, it looked brand new, and my wife was delighted that she no longer had to plug her Kindle into her computer to charge.

> 3 dayMy husbands original cord had the plastic coating around the wires flake off. Not sure what happened there. He needed a replacement so we went to Amazon to order. Your service was very fast and accurate. Kudos for a job well done!

> 3 daywhat can I say? If you own a Kindle and lose your power cord, a new one is a necessity. Amazon was super about getting this replacement to me in record time.

> 3 dayThe power cord is nice, however I just bought the Kindle in Dec, and had to replace it 6 months later. For such an expensive item the cord should last longer.

> 3 daymy original charger was so cheaply made that the plastic covering crumbled away from the wire. Since I did not report it ( A lesson there) for 13 months I had to buy a new one to replace the original substandard one.

> 3 dayIt worked. If you have to have it, you have to have it. Probably is not the sturdiest cord in the world -- my office chair had rolled over its predecessor several times and damaged it beyond repair, so I had to get a new one. There doesnt appear to be a choice of items with which to replace it. So, I had to get the same one Id gotten before. Just be careful with it.

> 3 dayWhen the K2 and DX came out, I bought both of them, one for home and the other for travel. Within a very short period of time, both of my cords white insulation started cracking. I have been very careful with these cords; but they still cracked. Luckily customer service replaced them both at no charge. Hopefully, these new cords will last longer.

> 3 dayI had traveled from our home in New York to our second home in Arizona with my Kindle in hand --- but not my power adapter!!! Needless to say, I forgot to pack my power adapter and the Kindle needed to be recharged. We looked at several stores - Radio Shack, Staples, Walmart, with no success. Then we decided to try Amazon.com and it was delivered promptly to our Arizona address. What a relief it was for both my husband and I to read the books we had downloaded on the Kindle. Now we have an adapter in both places, and wont have to worry about this issue in the future.

> 3 dayI love my Kindle and wouldnt use any other reader, however the USB cable with the 110 Volt adapter is below par in material. The coating on the cable is not the same as used on standard USB cables, for some reason they used a coating that is stiffer and in my case has started to crumble and fall off leaving the metal sheath bare at both ends. The cable is still usable but the poor quality of this part is unacceptable. I keep the cable in the neopreme case that I store the Kindle in so the cable is not exposed to sunlight or other hazards that might cause the plastic coating to fail. The replacement part that I bought is also made with the same poor quality sheathing, maybe by the time I have to buy another USB power cable they will switch to the sheathing used on standard USB cables, which I leave out and has lasted over eight years with no hint of failure of the cable coating.
