Amazon Kindle US (Type A, United States) Power Adapter [Fits Kindle and Kindle DX]

The power cord is nice, however I just bought the Kindle in Dec, and had to replace it 6 months later. For such an expensive item the cord should last longer.

The charger that comes with the Kindle Fire is lame at best. Poor quality and construction, no detachable USB cord, and cannot be used as a USB cable to connect/charge with a PC. This cable charger combo is a much better product. I guess theyre trying to save on costs offering the device at $199, and I can understand that. I personally prefer this white combination of the USB cable and detachable charger. Works much better for me.

My problem was handled quickly and with a lot of concern by the customer reps. I have no problem when there is always someone there who knows how to find the solution for me. Thank you! Keep up the good work!

I needed an A/C adapter for a Kindle that I bought as a gift. The item was extremely easy to locate on Amazon and the entire transaction was very pleasurable. I made payment, it was shipped. Very fast turnaround which is just what I needed to be able to give it along with the Kindle.

This wall/usb replacement cable is just what it says. I misplaced the one that came with my Kindle-it was do I spend hours looking for it-or replace mine for under $20 and free shipping via Amazon Prime. Time is money so that is what I did, When I find my original cable, I will put it in my carry-on so it is set to go and I will have my new one in a drawer where I can find it easily.

Very good quality. Easy to use. Delivered on time. Now I can read again. I got this extra one so I would have one in my travel bag.

Having misplaced my Kindle 2 Power adapter, I promptly ordered a replacement. The adapter was delivered in a timely manner and works exactly as it should. As is usual with my dealings with Amazon.com, everything was done in a professional and efficient manner.

Does not work with my kindle. When I plugged it in it did not charge at all. Light comes on that shows it is charging but after almost 2 hrs the kindle still had only 15% charge which is what it started with.

The only problem I have with this is that I didnt need a second cord, just the adapter plug. I think Amazon should sell these separate. Heck, I probably would pay the same price for just that.

The USB plug was very hard to insert in the kindle so it could be charged Therefor, I do not disconnect the USB plug, but use my kindle with the USB. Cord dangling.
