Amazon Kindle US (Type A, United States) Power Adapter [Fits Kindle and Kindle DX]

While the power cord is necessary, it is not designed to handle the accidential dropping of the kindle. I have had to replace the power cord Three times due to accidently dropping the kindle and the cord getting pulled out of the kindle. The Kindle itself was not damaged but the cord would not work afterwards. For the price you pay for the cord, it should be more durable

I burned out the one that came with my kindle in europe..had no way to continue charging my kindle, so i was very happy to get the replacement and it was just as good as the original. I was told it would arrive in a few days, and it was here the next afternoon.. sandi

I had lost or so I thought I did the power adaptor for my Kindle while traveling. I found it in a zippered compartment of my luggage after I ordered & received the repacement. Now I have two of them. I think its a great product as is the Kindle.

You can not beat the price. The adapter is fantastic because it gives you the choice to plug into a wall or into a computer. I received the item much quicker than I expected. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Electricity flows through it. It has an external color. I havent lost it in a hotel room yet.

It worked. If you have to have it, you have to have it. Probably is not the sturdiest cord in the world -- my office chair had rolled over its predecessor several times and damaged it beyond repair, so I had to get a new one. There doesnt appear to be a choice of items with which to replace it. So, I had to get the same one Id gotten before. Just be careful with it.

This is a little late (got my Kindle a year ago for my birthday), but I just came across this e-mail when checking other orders. I purchased this replacement because I thought I had lost my original (I found it later). I am very glad I purchased a spare. Both work perfectly, I carry one (along with my Kindle, of course) everywhere I go. I have had no trouble with them. They both perform exactly as described in your product information. Its great having one at my reading chair and one in my pocket.

The price of this is something you cant beat, and it works as well as the one that comes with your Kendle. I think it may be a bit longer than the one I originally got, but I dont have that one any more to tell (Lost it in a move). Its great, does what it needs, and charges your Kendle in no time.

The charger that comes with the Kindle Fire is lame at best. Poor quality and construction, no detachable USB cord, and cannot be used as a USB cable to connect/charge with a PC. This cable charger combo is a much better product. I guess theyre trying to save on costs offering the device at $199, and I can understand that. I personally prefer this white combination of the USB cable and detachable charger. Works much better for me.

The item is a good solid power cord that allows for computer sharing as well as ppower source from outlet. The cord was lost in transit, probably due to issues in New York, but the seller immediately sent a new one when I contacted him. He was very quick to respond to the contact and even though the shipping delay was not his fault, he sent a new cord out immediately and reduced th shipping costs for both. I couldnt be more impressed with that effort! I would not hesitate to purchase anything from this seller at any time.
