amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

This comes with two screen protectors, a microfiber cloth and some Screen cleaners. The fact that the installation is super easy and the lack of screen bibles makes this a very easy buy. I was skeptical about what screen protector I wanted to buy but the main issue for me was not having air bubbles. The only way you would get air bubbles with the screen protectors if you have no arms. I am overly cautious so take it from me: if you want a screen protector that looks good, allows you to still easily use your touchscreen and has no air bubbles this is exactly what you want.

These can work wonderfully! Zero bubbles and relatively easy to install. BUT, BUT, BUT!!!! YOU MUST NOT USE THE BLUE PHONE CLEANING STICKERS TO CLEAN OFF YOUR NINTENDO SWITCH! YOU MUST NOT! The text is small, but it says to not use the stickers on your Switch. I did not listen and used the stickers, because I didnt understand how simple stickers could harm my screen. As youll see in other reviews, the stickers can interact poorly with your Nintendo Switch and cause damage. Its kind of a double edged sword, if youre not one for reading instructions and the fine print. Excellent product, but you must use it correctly. Also, you must be careful when removing the screen from your Switch, after it has been damaged. Remove it while standing over a trash can or sink, because thousands of little pieces can fall off. After peeling it off, use a dust blower to remove finer pieces from your Nintendo Switch. DO NOT WIPE THE PIECES OFF! They can scratch your Nintendo Switch screen, so just blow them away, THEN wipe.

This product was very easy to install. I haven’t had it break yet so as far as keeping the screen protected in a fall I can’t say for sure but it feels like very sturdy material. The touch screen on my switch works without issue with this screen protector and I haven’t seen any scratches on the screen protector and it has been on my switch for over a year. Over it appears to be a good and sturdy product and I love that it came with 2 screen protectors. I gave the second one to my best friend and they also have not had issues with the touch screen or with the screen being scratched.

This screen protector did its job, however the material was a little cheap.

Little pain to put on but works

I was able to get it attached perfectly, with no air bubbles. I got really serious about it and did it in a steamy bathroom, plus using the hinge method (extremely easy with the included hinge tape strips). I felt silly doing it in the bathroom, but it was worth the additional effort. It looks great with the screen on, and I actually think the added snugness in the dock is 100% a good thing. First impressions very positive, and the price is great too. Plus its nice to have an extra backup screen in case something happens. However, for some reason I do not know, air bubbles appeared under the screen just days after it was applied. Maybe it happened because the case was in a car for a few hours at temps around 40 degrees. Anyway, I was able to get rid of the new air bubbles, but if it keeps happening I will consider that a pretty major defect. I will try to update my review if its a recurring problem.

If you get a Switch you *need* a screen protector. The plastic is soft and will scuff or scratch. Mine took a spill in tabletop mode 4 days after getting it and put two permanent dings on the screen. I ordered this immediately. It includes the screens, microfiber cloth, wet and dry wipes, and dust removal adhesives. I only used the wipes and the microfiber to clean the screen. The first protector applied quickly and not only protects the screen, but has severely reduced the visibility of the minor screen damage to the point I cant really see it. YMMV. For me this has made the purchase worth double or triple what I paid. Again, YMMV so dont be like me, get one of these installed right away so its never an issue short of something catastrophic happening to your little console. You get two in the package which seems intended to give you a do-over if something goes wrong with the first attempt. I didnt need the second one. I did have a small air bubble in the middle of the screen but I was able to work it out in a minute of gently but firmly rubbing with the included microfiber cloth in circles from the top edge of the bubble and working towards the bottom edge of the screen.

I was looking for some high quality tempered glass for my Nintendo Switch, and came across this 2 pack of tempered glass that had very good reviews. The price point was affordable, and it shipped fast, arriving on time. I put this tempered glass on my Switch by following the video tutorial, and the instructions provided with the product (which were both very useful), and could not be happier with the turn out! I did not apply these while in the bathroom with hot water running (to create moisture), so I did get a few air bubbles at first, but after taking a few minutes to push them out, you cant even tell I have tempered glass on top of my console! This is a must-have accessory for the Nintendo Switch, and provides protection against scratching/general handling. I highly recommend this particular set for anyone who is looking for a high quality tempered glass manufacturer. With the very helpful videos, the installation instructions/products included, and the great customer service, I give this product 5 stars and will be sure to recommend this particular brand/seller to my friends with a Nintendo Switch.

This is honestly a fantastic product and the easiest screen protector application Ive ever had. That may or may not speak well of the product quality, because Ive never used a glass screen protector before, but either way, it was super easy to just set down the edge and lay it flat. Now I love swiping my fingers all over the screen because its so nice and smooth. The first time I stuck it down, I got a single little piece of dust near the edge. So I pulled it back up, used one of the handy included stickers to grab the dust out of there, and set it back down. It was ALMOST perfect. At the corner where I had peeled up the protector, there are now two little bubble arcs that dont go away, no matter how much I press on them. Its a bit disappointing that I wasnt able to remove and reapply the protector without some permanent visual flaw, but its really no big deal because when I say little bubble arcs, I mean really really little. You have to look a bit to even notice them. The other minor complaint I have is that these seem to scratch fairly easily. I take extremely good care of my things, but I somehow got a scratch on my screen protector already. Its not major at all, only maybe 1/16, but its there and my screen is no longer flawless. Bottom line though, that scratch isnt on my Switchs screen, so Id say the protector did its job.

There is always install error to account for. Applying any screen protector takes some technique. With that said, this works very well. I have used the same brand on my Google Pixel 3 phone and it always worked well. Clean the screen well before applying it, but do not go overboard and saturate the screen. If the screen has bubbles you can carefully lift the edge up and then place the glass back down to get the screen to naturally push the air out.
