Greater than one weekI bought a Switch in July and did some research about screen protectors. Are they necessary? What is the best available on the market if they are? That sort of thing. I decided to go ahead and order one after reading some reviews and decided on this particular screen protector. Solid reviews, decent price. Like every other product similar to this on the market, they are always a bit of a potential pain to get applied, and you want one that doesnt give you any unexpected problems. This protector ended up working perfectly for me. Ive messed up a screen protector once or twice in my life, and Ive also applied a few that were great. If you take your time, follow the directions, and are having a non-cursed day, this screen protector will do the job nicely for you. Its a good product and a fair price. No regrets with my purchase.

> 3 daySo my son cracked the digitizer on his switch. Wasnt too bad, figured Id get it fixed eventually. Then the dog knocked it out of his and onto the concrete at the base of our fireplace on the edge and it really cracked. So I started looking into getting it repaired. As I was looking, I realized I hadnt just put a film cover on it, it was one of these glass protectors. I pulled off the protector and sure enough, the digitizer didnt have any cracks. Im not sure if the digitizer would have cracked like the protector had it not been on, but Im glad I didnt have to find out. And since my son thought he had broken his Switch, hes been a lot more careful with it. I consider this a win the whole way around and would recommend these to anyone looking for a protector.

> 3 dayA tempered glass screen protector is a must-have for the Switch, and this is about the best one you can buy. Ive tried two different screen protectors before this one (one came with a carrying case; the other was standalone). Both were pretty bad; the first had several bubbles I couldnt get out, and the other brand had dried-out wet wipes and dust-removal stickers that only managed to get residue on the Switch screen. The amFilm kit is miles better: the wet/dry wipes are a good size, you get a bubble-removal card which actually works, and the screen protector itself ingeniously has two applicator tabs on either side of the tempered glass screen, allowing you to easily set it exactly into place without fear of misalignment. Ive been using the Switch in handheld mode with the screen protector now for several days. The glass is extremely clear, and colors still come through incredibly vividly. I honestly forget the glass is on the screen most of the time. Plus, I can put the unit into the Switch dock without having to worry about whether or not Im accidentally scratching the screen (Ive heard several horror stories to that effect). This thing is cheap, easy to install, it looks great, and gives you quite a bit of peace of mind — dont take your Switch outside without one!

Greater than one weekOk first let me say the customer that posted heat was melting this protector must have not applied it correctly. I seen it myself when its not put on even. I applied thinner screen protectors and with no heat issues. I have 2 amFilm protectors on perfect on 2 Switches. No bubbles, no mashing. Im going to give some advice that amFilm should have in their instructions. Apply as instructed using the tabs to line it up best you can or perfect. Once you have it lined up. Let the left or right side down first holding the opposite up. Hovering the protector so close to the screen dust wont get in or mines didnt. Keep the one side up and slowing use your fingers and lower the screen down. Youll see itll attach itself with no bubbles left to right or right to left depending on what side you picked to lower first. It will move across even horizontal no bubbles for me. But this protector make the Switch look damn good and even though I dont need it. I want to order another just to keep handy. Ill post pictures if requested.

> 3 dayOk so i bought this protector a while back and it did very well. Right up untill my girlfriend dropped my switch face down on the floor at college, and it slid acrossed the floor face down grinding the sand and rocks into the screen. Scratches everywhere. Needless to say i needed a replacement for that protector. So i bought this again to replace the ground up one. unfortunatly while the old one fit perfectly, right to the edge of the screen on all sides. The new one seems to be a millimeter too narrow vertically and 2 millimeters to narrow horizontally. Its not horrible but it is noticable. It will probably proyect it fine but i am concerned that it may allow dust underneath. The new one however did not get any dust underneath it during application so it really was bubble free for me. And there is no loss of light/brightness, no tinting and no loss of touch sensitivity. Your results my vary as mine have going from one to the next, bit so far its acceptable and does its job fairly well. Heres to hoping the edges stay ok.

> 3 daySo, I got these screen protectors way back in May 2018. For two years it remained bubble-free, protected my Switch from scratches, and remained intact. Recently it started running a crack from the bottom up through the top of the protector from the heat of having the Switch docked. I have it docked more than handheld by far. Considering the age, I had expected this sooner. Im not happy they broke but Im sure it wouldve happened at some point. Being that I got mine so long ago, I cant say whether theyve changed anything since then, but mine didnt have even one tiny bubble nor any other artifact left behind after application. It was perfect. I would recommend these.

> 3 dayI have now ordered this product for two of my devices as well as the smaller switch lite version. My original copy lasted me from release of the switch until now with very little wear, It only needed replaced when I started fiddling with one corner and the adhesive started to fail. Kept my screen safe and scratch free This product works very well, but as with most screen protectors the application leaves something to be desired. Its extremely difficult to keep the adhesive clean. As well once the protector is on the flattener provided with the kit is not study enough to provide the oomph needed to press out the air bubbles in a timely fashion. If you are experienced with installing screen protectors you shoukd have no issue, but the home applier beware the woes of revealing the adhesive too early.

Greater than one weekBought this with my Switch back in 2019. Installed it without too much issue, and promptly forgot it was there. Two years later when playing with the kickstand, I accidentally knocked it off the table and was upset to see two cracks in the screen. But wait! The cracks were only in the screen protector, and upon peeling it off, my Switch screen was fine! Since these kits come with two protectors, I promptly installed the second one on my Switch and Im back in business. So happy I spent a few bucks on these.

> 3 dayI bought the new revised Nintendo Switch around the last week of August. I had been looking on Amazon for accessories specifically pro controllers and future games, memory cards etc. Seeing as how I bought my Nintendo Switch from a offline retailer because I could not find the revision I wanted on Amazon (neon) I decided to come back to look at accessories and that is when Screen protectors was in the list of bought together or looking in search. I looked at plenty of screen protector and decided on AMfilm. It was straight forward and working with phone protectors in the past going in the shower/bathroom and letting it steam is the best way to apply this screen protector. I would have to say I got it on the first try but let me note when I held the tabs and before I pulled off tab 1 in shower to align with the switch I noticed a small bubble like dot on the upper part of the protector or blemish before and after removing the tab. I then aligned the protector and put it on the Nintendo Switch that dot was most likely from the sealed plastic cover being on the screen protector adhesive side because after placing the screen protector down and using the card to remove bubble then lightly touching the screen and sliding my hand across and removing the top layer tab after removing bubbles, the dot disappeared after turning the switch on. But let me get on with what I want to say: 1. Take one screen protector out in the shower when it steams or during the set up process with the shower running and steaming 2. open wet and dry wipe pack and thoroughly clean with the wet pack (do not be afraid get all corners and all over the screen even the plastic and then clean with dry wipes 3. Stickers or dust removal stickers they come with say not to use it on switch I am not sure what they are for they are not needed! it says on them not to us on switch so what purpose they serve is unknown 4. Take out protector when you notice the bathroom mirror fogging and steamed and remove tab 1 while and around the same time getting ready to align with the top front two tabs provided for alignment (most likely you will remove tab 1 while holding one of the other tabs as not to touch the adhesive side) 5. Align screen protector with Nintendo Switch screen in proper alignment and then place down protector 6. use squigee card to remove bubbles If all goes well you should not have any bubbles or dirt at all in the bathroom and remember to wash your hands and dry your hands before you start. I did not have any dirt or problems the alignment was perfect and it was my first time installing this screen protector.
