amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

I was very nervous about applying my screen protector especially after reading all the 3 star reviews. So I decided to watch video reviews which were very helpful. I decided to use the hinge method and did not use the alcohol cleaning preps. I used my own micro fiber towel along with a can of condensed air. Once it was completely clear of any dust I used scotch tape to complete the hinge method. Be careful when lowering the screen because mine started to detach from the protective plastic while holding the tabs. The screen protector lined up perfectly and there were no bubbles what so ever. Guess I got lucky but I took the best points from the videos I watched and everything went well. The videos were very helpful and gave me the confidence I needed. I havent had to use it for the scratch or crack protection but i bought it shortly after i got the switch to make sure it stays clean and protected. Ive applied multiple sizes of phone screen protectors and the switch one was the EASIEST and came out the nicest. It was the first and only time i managed to get on a protector without bubbles. The screen itself is clean and small. It fits in the dock perfectly with the protector with no problems. Theres a very small edge on switch screen that wasnt covered but not much to worry about. Lastly i gave it 4 stars cause it claims to be resistant to fingerprints but the second day i had it on i had noticable fingerprints on the screen. Its just me that uses it (im an adult) and no children in the home. The fingerprints smeared when i wiped so i actually have to clean them off. But since most of the time it sits in the dock, that doesnt bother me much. Overall im very happy considering you get two protectors, was super easy to apply and i dont have to worry about it being ruined. It puts my mind at ease with this expensive investment.

The switch got dropped off of a bed, and had a very nasty spiderweb crack that was spread across the entire screen. I thought for sure it was broken, but the screen protector was the only thing that cracked! If I could rate it higher I would. Im buying a replacement one as soon as I finish this review. It was easy to install, no problems with bubbles, didnt hinder the touch sensitivity at all, and protected the screen from scratches, smudges, and a very bad fall! I highly recommend this protector, especially for households with multiple children or a switch that is used a lot.

Could had used it before

I just bought my son the Nintendo Switch for Christmas and this screen protector is a must have in my opinion. Ive read multiple complaints how docking the Switch can scratch up the screen so buying this was a no brainier. The kit comes with everything you need to install the glass protector, 2 wet wipes, 2 dry wipes, card to remove bubbles, and a screen cloth. As for installation, it was a breeze. I usually let the sales rep install my screen protectors at the store when I buy a new cell phone just because I hate doing it myself. At least if they mess it up, I can tell them I dont like it and theyll continue to try to make it better. Grab a brand new one if they have to just to let it right. This was no different in my opinion. I wish I had someone else doing it for me but I didnt have a single issue. After cleaning the screen, I was easily able to align the cutouts on the green protector with the speakers and sensor on the Switch. The glass easily settles on top of the display without having to make much of an adjustment and minimal bubbles to clear out. As a matter of fact, there might have been 2 bubbles and only took little effort to get them out. I feel better knowing that the screen is protected from scratches and finger gunk. The glass is thick but not obstrusive. Slides right into the dock without issues and the peace of mind is well worth the cost of 2 screen protectors. I will more than likely buy a second Switch and use the other protector on it. Definitely would recommend this as a top accessory to buy for anyone looking to get a switch.

This screen protector has saved my worries from dock scratches and any other scratch that could possible happen. The kit comes with everything you need to apply it correctly and is very easy to do its procedure. The bottom of the dock will still make contact with the screen protector and may give it a smudge at the bottom of the black sides of the switch screen, but this never actually causes harm to the actual screen and can be rubbed off easily to a still perfect screen protector. One thing to note though : you should not leave your switch in your car with this screen protector applied on a hot day, as the adhesive may bubble along the edges of the protector. This is not extremely noticeable and completely understandable,as the car was at least 130 degrees internally and the switch was in there for at least 6 hours, so I would say it held up really well. The adhesive did not appear to do any damage to the screen itself, so that is good, and if need be I can always change it with the extra screen protector provided. Great product and definitely recommend.

Really good glass screen protector seems nicer then the onn glass protector Ive been buying from Walmart.I will say the onn protector has a tray that help you line it up but its not hard to install glass protector and they give you two in case you mess it up and it was close too half the price of the onn version and just as good or even better quality.I would recommend and I will buy again if I need to.

I was expecting a nicer screen protector than plastic screen protectors, But these screen protectors are absolutely amazing and an absolute joy to apply due to the contents included in the package. Comes with 2 sturdy tempered glass protectors which are perfectly cut to fit around the speakers and sensor at the bottom so lining up is very simple. The film on the glass panels are designed in a way so that accidentally touching the adhesive just should not happen...ever.. and the tabs on each side make it easy to line up and apply, once applied you simply run your fingers from the center out and you get a beautiful, bubble free screen that is sturdy. Before doing any of that though youll want to clean your hands of any and all oil to be safe, clean your work area and your Switches chincy plastic screen, but do so carefully as to not scratch your screen. The package comes with 2 sets of wet and dry wipes as well as a microfiber cloth.Use wet first, than gently dry excess moisture with the dry, finallt grab the micro cloth so no particles or residue is left behind. Before even opening I was sadly impressed by the heavy premium feeling cardboard the product came in. I love how the kit came with two sets of screens and wipes, was able to install a screen protector on mine and my sons Switches and the systems now feel far nicer than before, no worries of scratching and it adds a little snugness when docking so the system glides in nice n easy. Lastly the screen is very responsive when using touch functionality, everything just works great, youd have to be clueless to mess up the install with the provided instructions.. This is an awesome product.

For my first screen protector installation, it went pretty well. The quality of the screen itself is high, as it doesnt impede visibility and it has a nice feel to it. Installation was fairly straight forward and they include links to online installation and various tips in the instruction guide. The only issue during installation came from the screen not being a perfect 1:1 fit; it is very close to covering the whole screen, but there will be a slight gap no matter how you lay it. In my case, as the non-stick layer started to slip away from the screen, my protector fell in line with the bottom right side. It covers that part perfectly but the upper and left side are ever so exposed. I wish it was a better fit for the screen but it is a common occurrence with almost every screen protector Ive seen in the wild. Im looking forward to seeing how the screen protector holds up over time (and getting a second chance at installing, hopefully screwing up less) but overall it is a solid and inexpensive way to help keep your Switch looking good as new. Quick tips: Be sure to wash you hands; this point cant be stressed enough. Check out the screen carefully, in a well-lit room, so check for any dust or lint that may have come about when prepping the Switch (the disposable dry cloth, which comes with it, will leave a bit of a mess). Those air pockets you see might not be under the protector but actually just between the protector and the non-stick film. Once you remove that last part, they may very well disappear and help your OCD calm down a bit. Read the instructions twice before installing it the protector; it will make the installation go smoother. The video guide is also a handy reference.

This product is great! We have been using this brand on all our products for awhile. It’s fairly cheap and we haven’t had any scratches on our screens since. We have used this protector for iPads, the Nintendo switch, and numerous iPhones. However, tonight this product really proved itself. I dropped my phone face down on our hardwood floors from about 4 feet high. And it hit hard. I knew I was looking having to get the phone’s screen replaced. However, once I peeled the screen protector up my phone’s screen was perfect! And since there were 3 phone screens per package I didn’t have to order a replacement. There was a little adhesive residue around the edges of the old screen but that easily came up with the wet wipe that comes in the box before I installed the new screen. Like I said we’ve bought this brand for a few years for a couple of different products but this is the first time we really put it to the test. I am beyond impressed. Highly recommend.
