amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Nintendo Switch 2017 (2-Pack)

I got this a couple years ago when I got my hands on a switch as not to mess with the surface. A couple years on and it still works without any bubbles or such. a couple scratches after a while but its not exactly a premium product and its never going to stay perfect forever.

Everyone said you need a screen protector for your Nintendo Switch. After researching screen protector I choose this one. I never used this type of product on any device. I have to say it takes some skill to apply. If you have never done this before watch a few you tube videos. I ended up with a bubble in one corner... not a big deal. I could have applied the second screen protector, but I am cheap and I live with the bubble in the corner. I would say it takes a little skill to apply this type of product.....I would not even have bothered but after reading the reviews of scratched Nintendo Switch screen I figured I was better safe then sorry. Anyway, the box has everything you need to apply instructions on how to apply and a second screen incase you mess up or to replace the original after some time. I am interested to see what it does when the screen protector is removed... does it leave residue... if so is it easy to remove... But if all goes well I will never have to remove this screen protector. My only complaint is I wish this was simpler to apply... but I guess I am not good at applying this type of stuff.

Quality is very good and price cheaper than other products

I live in a rural area... One does not dust, they just shovel dirt once in a while. Ive installed MANY screen protectors and some in near sterile conditions, and EVERY SINGLE ONE has resulted in some annoying dot or ended up askew. I dont know if the fact that the switch is a plastic screen makes a difference, but what does is the wings (or tabs as they call them). Its the first time Ive had reasonable grip to direct positioning without my fat fingers mucking up the sticky on the edge. The tabs allowed precision placement without borking things up with your fingertips and, it would appear, the microfiber cloth included was cleaner than normal. I mean, included wipes should be but are not often. I have no idea if the dry wipe works because its not indicated for the switch (I just think they are included as its a pair with the wet wipe), and I didnt need the positioning stickers as the sizing of the screen guard is incredibly precise. It appears that its about a .5 mm border that allows for a tiny bit of play, but ultimately superb screen coverage. The only reason Im making this review is that it turned out great when I have, even in the best case scenarios, had to deal with junk under the protector and I think a part of that is design, not just size and location. The tabs are INCREDIBLY useful, and I hope that becomes a trend. That being said, I just installed it... let us see what the future will hold.

This screen protector is the best I have used. While it doesnt have the snazzy bezel to make the installation a no brainier, if you follow the directions installation is a breeze. I have three nintendo switch units in the house and every single one has an amFilm screen protector on it. Recently my youngest dropped his Switch going from room to room and it hit at a strange angle just off of being vertical... It impacted on the top edge of the film and the chassis. the film shattered and the screen remained intact and unharmed!! Peeled the film off and popped another one on!! I recommend doing the installation in a closed bathroom. you want to get things lightly steamy to get the dust down but not so steamy that water starts to condense on the glass... Use the hinge stickers!! You get two screen protectors and six stickers. I line things up and hold in place the put three stickers on the bottom of the protector and wrap them on to the bottom of the switch. Lift the protector up enough to peel the film against the screen and then drop the film... DONE!!

Could had used it before

They work just fine, minus getting marked with fingerprints incredibly easy. For the price I cant complain much. Also was surprised by how easy they were to install thanks to the two bottom speakers on the Switch.

This is the second set of screen protectors for the switch I had bought and tried to put on. Both screen protectors instantly had 2 huge bubbles under the screen that I could not get off. The card they give you was ruined quickly and I broke my credit card trying to remove these bubbles. There was no dust or anything stuck to the screen. UPDATE I was sent replacement screen protectors right away. This one worked out alot better for me. I still had an air bubble in a different location on the screen that gave me trouble but with a lot more patient on my part I kept working at it and was able to get rid of that pesky bubble. I do believe these are the best screen protectors for you Switch. Just beware that there are a few bad batches and may not work as it should. I would definitely buy these again if I ever got a switch light or is they come out with a pro switch version.

My son has cracked 2 of these and Im buying more because The cracks never got to the actual glass on the switch. Worth every cent.

This was easy to put on the Nintendo Switch. My son says he gets fingerprintd on it, but they are easy to wipe off.
