> 24 hourAs far as ordering and shipping it was easy. When I hooked up the new main board printer would not turn on so put old one back in. It appears there is no printer port on board. But overall experience was good. I just need to return board I think

> 24 hourIve purchased 2 of these boards, one from this seller and the same board from another. When I first installed it it was completely quiet just like my other motherboard upgrade. But now that Ive had this board from this seller for about 2 months its noticeably louder. For comparison, my other Ender 3 with the motherboard upgrade from another seller has been in use for 6 months and its as quiet as it was day 1 of the upgrade.. Ive run both printers at the same time printing the same file and this board is CLEARLY louder and whiner. Its noise level now is halfway between the stock board and upgraded motherboard(from another seller). ANOTHER ISSUE is when I first installed this board, the LCD screen on my Ender 3 wouldnt work. I had to unplug the screen and reset the printer 3 times before it began working properly. Do yourself a favor and just purchase from another seller.

> 24 hourIt is what it says on a tin, a silent board for your Creality printer. And it is indeed silent, youll be hearing only fans. Why 3 stars then? Well, if you plan on always using Creality firmware, you should read it as 5 stars. But if you plan on fiddling with Marlin or any other firmware… 1. You wont be able to use linear advance with this board, no matter what you do. 2. Its so short on RAM that youd have to disable features to enable pretty much any other feature. You want mesh leveling? Get Octoprint and kiss your physical control panel goodbye. 3. The drivers are soldered directly to the board, so they will always run in legacy mode, so no spreadcycle mode for your extruder stepper and no way to enable it. In short, if youre into advanced features – get a third party (SKR, TH3D etc) board instead.

> 24 hourAfter reading the updates about the 256k cpu being found on an Ender 3 v2, I opened my machine, which is running the jyers marlin firmware for BL touch, to find the RCT6 256k cpu, not the RET6 512k cpu that is supposed to be in the machine. I ordered this 4.2.7 board specifically because the pictures show the RET6 cpu. The 4.2.7 board that I received today has the 256k RCT6 cpu, not the 512k RET6 cpu. Be careful and make sure you check out your parts.

> 24 hourIt really does make printing quiet. Best $ spent on upgrades.

> 24 hourNice board but you cant use it or the stock board with an SD card bigger than 8 gig. I thought my original one took a crap because it wouldnt read my 16 gig sd card. The new board wouldnt read it either and its not that it just wont read it, it boots up all screwy.

> 24 hourThe only reason I bought this board because I thought it had the latest update from Maline 2.0.1 But they stay in the heading 2.0.1 But comes installed with 1.0.1 Ive updated the firmware myself now to 2.0.6 But why not just say what it has.

> 24 hourAhhh.. the sounds of silence... This thing is great if you or anybody else around is annoyed by a noisy printer with the old drivers. If you already have the quiet drivers on a 4.2.2. board, its not worth buying. I had a 4.2.2 board with the noisy ones.. this fixed that. Starting to like my printer more and more

> 24 hourFor an original Ender 3 (Non pro version), this plus the CR Touch module are game changing upgrades.
