> 3 dayMy product caught on fire a week into using it, everything was wired correctly and working, i own multiple printers and have had these boards replaced in half of them so now it draws for a big concern, quality control is clearly shotty so i can’t recommend, they work great when they’re not catching fire, i understand this is always a possibility but a week in is just insane to me, hopefully i can get a return as it’s been close to month and i no longer have the box for it, but it also destroyed my BL touch in the process, so i got a bitter taste in my mouth, i really hope you guys can ensure these products wont do this consistently to others, thankfully i was home at the time and caught it pretty early in.

Greater than one weekThis motherboard should come standard. It took my 3D printer from a whiny mess to almost completely silent. The only noise now is the fan running. It was a simple install and flashing the new firmware was very simple. A great upgrade for the money.

> 3 dayOkay, learned a lot about this board. The firmware versions on the file and screen dont match. I flashed to the latest Marlin firmware provided by Creality and found the screen only reads 1.1.2 instead of the version 2.0.1 that may be installed. The version that came on the board did not support my CR Touch. The clamps for the wired were a bit finicky. Once I did all the leg work the board seems to be working fine.

> 3 dayThe best upgrade for my ender 3 pro.

> 3 dayNot a drop-in replacement for any printer due to EEPROM is disabled in the firmware. Therefore you loose your setting when you turn off the power.

> 3 dayHad ordered this aug 27th and had a malfunctioning motherboard. Contacted support and they helped me above and beyond to fix or get me a new motherboard. So far have done 6 5hour prints with new one and works flawlessly.

> 3 dayThis mainboard (v4.2.7) eliminated the stepper noise on my Ender 3 Pro which was running the v4.2.2 mainboard. Now when I print all I can hear are the fans.

> 3 dayNOT A 1.1.5 BOARD! Im not sure why Creality decided to call this a 1.1.5 board. The 1.1.5 is 8-bit and uses the Arduino IDE for firmware flashing. The 4.2.7 that I received is a 32-bit board, which demands an entirely different firmware and needs a completely different environment for flashing. At the moment, Crealitys own 32-bit firmware doesnt support BLTouch or inductive sensors, and the source code is nowhere to be found, meaning youre SOL if youve upgraded your printer with one of them. Vanilla Marlin 2.0 may work (I havent tried, mainly because Im on TH3D EZABL bed leveling). 3 stars because I appreciate the 32 bit upgrade. All boards are going to be this way in the future as the tech continues to evolve. Im sure the board will be great when programming catches up. However, they SHOULD NOT be calling this a 1.1.5 board. They are not the same thing and cant even use the same firmware.

Greater than one weekThe only thing you can hear now are the fans. missing a star because onboard driver is 2208, no linear advance in newer Marlin. Still 8 bit. Should include extra extruder driver for the price. Better options out there for the money unless you just want silent operation and nothing more.
