Okay, learned a lot about this board. The firmware versions on the file and screen dont match. I flashed to the latest Marlin firmware provided by Creality and found the screen only reads 1.1.2 instead of the version 2.0.1 that may be installed. The version that came on the board did not support my CR Touch. The clamps for the wired were a bit finicky. Once I did all the leg work the board seems to be working fine.

Board super quiet, has boot loader to flash from flash drive. Marlin 2.0 no pre installed had to compile my self with much trial and error. Really old version Installed

This was my second board from these people, i returned the first one because it would immediately stop extruding. I sent it back and got a replacement, when the second one did the same thing I emailed the company for tech support, their suggestion was to try a different SD card... After some internet sleuthing i found out there was a conflict in the firmware with S3D. Ive been using Cura as a work around not being able to use my expensive slicer unless i flash the board with new firmware.. Then today on the very last day to send it back almost exactly 1 month after purchasing the board stopped working completely. Very displeased. I didnt even get a thank you from the company when i sent in the fix to the original Extrusion issue.. I ordered another board from Creality.. 0 for 2 Comgrow.. ill be avoiding your products from now on and passing it on to my printing groups.

The noise-canceling is night and day. I was expecting for it to be a bit quieter but was not expecting it to be silent, not sure how a motherboard does that and why they decided to keep that in the oringal. Super easy to setup, just remove the motherboard and connect the cables. The firmware is already implemented so nothing to do there. Once again this was an incredible purchase, I no longer have to sleep with a white noise machine while I print overnight.

I knew it was supposed to silence the motors, but I never expected it to work so well! There was a very drastic reduction in noise level. So glad I purchased it! Thanks CHEP!

I was skeptical. I got the Ender 3 Pro which has the version 4.2.2 board in it. When I measured the sound with Sound Meter on my phone it was 43db (quiet library). It was very quiet but I felt that that level of noise would have warranted a visit form the ghost librarian in Ghostbusters. I printed with it for a week with the stock board. Tonight I decided to try the board and if there wasnt a significant difference, Id return it. . . . It ... is ... soooooo ....quiet... I really couldnt believe it. I printed the calibration cube as a quick test. It is sitting at my elbow right now and I have to look over to see that it is still printing. Sound meter puts it at 39db, but that doesnt do it justice. The fans are the limiting factor on the noise. If you could get quieter fans, you would drop it even more. People always talk about the R2D2 noises of a 3D printer. Well they are gone. Im a fanboy now of this board and Ill sing its praises anywhere I talk about this printer.

I have an Ender 3 Pro and I ordered this board to help upgrade it. Long story short: They do not come with 1.1.5 Firmwear(1.0.1 intead), It locks up an Ender 3 Pro to the point of not functioning at all, and if you try to update the firmwear, it sets off the thermal runaway alarm and bricks the printer until you kill the power.

Only worked for about 5 min and the magic smoke was released. Am reordering from another vendor

It made the Ender3 Pro super quiet, but the stand alone TMC2208 chip for the extruder would trip out on overload typically around the 2hr point. Resetting it and immediately starting resulted in failure to feed. Letting the machine cool for an hour or so would result back to the 2hr print fail. Added auxiliary cooling (even to the point of setting it on top of a box fan) with no success. So I set this board aside to see if I can change the Vref or possibly get a better motor. I spent a day and a half checking hot end, clogs, binding, etc, but everything was smooth running and wouldnt subject the motor to extraneous stress. So on the fence, about this upgrade.
