Greater than one weekI swapped out my stock board because I thought I had fried it (I hadnt) and was expecting an upgrade in the noise level but I literally cant hear anything but the fans, even up close! Install was easy, I watched a couple youtube videos but probably didnt even need to do that as everything is labeled so well and I didnt have the two white wire confusion older models seemed to have. Really recommend if noise is an issue at all.

> 3 dayI am very happy with the current noise level. Easy to install and came with all the required pieces. Since the update all have worked fine - printing like a charm!

> 3 dayAfter reading the updates about the 256k cpu being found on an Ender 3 v2, I opened my machine, which is running the jyers marlin firmware for BL touch, to find the RCT6 256k cpu, not the RET6 512k cpu that is supposed to be in the machine. I ordered this 4.2.7 board specifically because the pictures show the RET6 cpu. The 4.2.7 board that I received today has the 256k RCT6 cpu, not the 512k RET6 cpu. Be careful and make sure you check out your parts.

Greater than one weekDefinitely made the stepper motors super quiet. Did not come with bootloader as advertised though.

14-04-2025I was amazed how much less noise the ender 3 made after switching this board. Just do it, this should be a top 3 upgrade for anyone who just bought the ender 3 3d printer. install is pretty straight forward, no special tools needed besides a small flat head screw driver.

> 3 dayI had this for about two months and I got an E1 error. I went online to the official support and I follow all the steps. I opened everything, checked the wires, did everything the video told me to do, looked good. Kept printing, got a weird smell and another E1 error. Opened it up and saw whats in the picture. I contacted support but I guess I can only get a v4.2.2 motherboard as a replacement and the only solution was that my power supply was on the wrong voltage (which it wasnt since its been running correctly since I got the printer in December.) I dont think I would recommend this product. Looking online this issue isnt that uncommon. It is quite dangerous though.

> 3 dayAhhh.. the sounds of silence... This thing is great if you or anybody else around is annoyed by a noisy printer with the old drivers. If you already have the quiet drivers on a 4.2.2. board, its not worth buying. I had a 4.2.2 board with the noisy ones.. this fixed that. Starting to like my printer more and more

> 3 dayIt took me about an hour to remove the old board and swap out to this new one. It worked right away without any issues. I would highly recommend this board if you want to upgrade your Ender.
