> 3 dayI had this thing installed in under a half hour. Just take your time and take pictures of the wire positions. The only wires that dont have letters marked on where they go are the B-MOT & ETEMP on the bottom right, just mark them before removing them. Also make sure you put the ground on the right on them ALL before putting back into the housing.

> 3 dayIve done a couple of upgrades -- springs, bed leveler, several printed parts to organize wires, filament guides, etc. -- but this one has had the most value/$. I had a friend recommend this, as on phone calls he could hear the original machine running in the background. Its made a huge change in the sound level, note that it wont be completely silent because the power supply and other fans make noise. Take your time on installation (about an hour,) have plenty of work-space, and make sure to remove the old hot-glue that olds the old wiring connectors to the old board, also working slowly to move each wire one-at-a-time (many of them arent labeled.)

> 3 dayI bought this kit to upgrade my Ender 3 Pro 3D printer 8-bit motherboard to a 32-bit motherboard. The installation went well, though one must pay attention to detail while installing the board. The stepper motors are noticeably quieter, which is a nice outcome. Integration with my existing Octoprint setup was seamless, pretty much plug n play. Prints are fractionally faster, but the main benefit is the ability to use better firmware with the printer.

> 3 dayI had this for about two months and I got an E1 error. I went online to the official support and I follow all the steps. I opened everything, checked the wires, did everything the video told me to do, looked good. Kept printing, got a weird smell and another E1 error. Opened it up and saw whats in the picture. I contacted support but I guess I can only get a v4.2.2 motherboard as a replacement and the only solution was that my power supply was on the wrong voltage (which it wasnt since its been running correctly since I got the printer in December.) I dont think I would recommend this product. Looking online this issue isnt that uncommon. It is quite dangerous though.

> 3 dayMy ender 5 came with the 1.1.5 Melzi board, which is 8 bit.... This was a nice upgrade to be able to install newer Marlin firmware to take advantage of some of the advanced features available.

> 3 dayThe install was somewhat involved, but mainly due to my ender 3 having its connections hot glued down. Once that was sorted though, it was plug and play for the most part. Can’t hear the motors at all now, the fans are now the “loudest” part. When I have my ac running at the same time, I can’t hear the printer at all. Only time I notice the noise now is if I’m focused on it. Print quality is really good too, so I don’t think there were any compromises there.
