Greater than one weekHad ordered this aug 27th and had a malfunctioning motherboard. Contacted support and they helped me above and beyond to fix or get me a new motherboard. So far have done 6 5hour prints with new one and works flawlessly.

> 3 dayI installed this for two reasons. 1) To update my ender 3s firmware and stop getting the fire hazard warning from octoprint 2) so my 3d printer wouldnt embarrass me on work calls with its serenading. The noise reduction is unbelievable, I have to check to make sure it started up or is still going. Install was easy with a yt video and flashing the firmware was too. Pleased with my purchase.

07-06-2025This board installed nice and easy in my Ender 3 and is impressively quiet. The bootloader made it super simple to flash a custom Marlin Firmware and Ive been up and printing for the last few weeks. The only downside Ive had with this board is the TMC2225s come with a trade-off -- No linear advance. When I originally purchased this board I was only about a week into 3D printing and was still learning, so I didnt know much about Linear Advance and its benefits. Now that I know, I wish I had chosen a board that would support this feature. Not a fault of the board per se, so Im still giving a 5 star review as its been great otherwise. Do some research on Linear Advance and if its something you want, this is not the board youre looking for. If you dont need Linear Advance, this is a great silent board with bootloader and reliable prints.

> 3 dayAhhh.. the sounds of silence... This thing is great if you or anybody else around is annoyed by a noisy printer with the old drivers. If you already have the quiet drivers on a 4.2.2. board, its not worth buying. I had a 4.2.2 board with the noisy ones.. this fixed that. Starting to like my printer more and more

> 3 dayReally amazing drivers in these, heat brake cooling fan is the loudest thing on my ender 3 now! plugged in a CL touch and did the software update from creality site, no problem. Original board had a ton of hot glue on the connectors, take your time and use some ipa soaked q-tip on the hotglue to release it.

> 3 dayI knew it was supposed to silence the motors, but I never expected it to work so well! There was a very drastic reduction in noise level. So glad I purchased it! Thanks CHEP!

> 3 dayEasy to connect. Came with NO information but there are many YouTube videos on the install. Much quieter motors now, and seems to have thermal runaway protection enabled.

> 3 dayInstalled wire for wire so it was pretty easy. Unfortunately, it freaks out when I plug it into my computer and when I insert an SD card, it doesnt register it.

> 3 dayThis board was a direct replacement to a 1.1.3 board i had in the new ender 3 pro I just received. Installation was easy and the printer is absolutely quiet now. You cant hear the steppers at all. I havnt checked the thermal runaway protection yet but marlin 1.1.8 is installed. One issue ive noticed is the y and z axis really slam into the stop switches when auto homing. Ive read this can be fixed by setting a lower value in the firmware for the homing speed but havnt flashed the new values yet.... I used 3m double sided foam tape to pad the switch levers and this gives the switches enough extra space to not get slammed while homing Not alot of info or reviews on these boards yet. Is anyone flashing newer firmware on theirs? Do i need an audrino or just use usb? UPDATE 9/20/19 I did end up flashing marlin 1.1.9 and with the bootloader already installed , there was no need for an audrino
