Creality V4.2.7 Upgrade Mute Silent Mainboard for Ender 3 Customized Silent Board, Ender 3 Silent Mother Board

i bought this board to upgrade my ender 3 pro. it hooks up the exact same way as the stock ender 3 board and has the port for a ABL probe. what took me by surprise is how quiet it really is. sure it says silent board in the title but i figured how quiet could it really make the printer? well, very quiet!

OMG!!!! I cannot believe how quiet my ender 3 is now!! You can only hear the part fan!!!

replaced an older board

I had this for about two months and I got an E1 error. I went online to the official support and I follow all the steps. I opened everything, checked the wires, did everything the video told me to do, looked good. Kept printing, got a weird smell and another E1 error. Opened it up and saw whats in the picture. I contacted support but I guess I can only get a v4.2.2 motherboard as a replacement and the only solution was that my power supply was on the wrong voltage (which it wasnt since its been running correctly since I got the printer in December.) I dont think I would recommend this product. Looking online this issue isnt that uncommon. It is quite dangerous though.

All the new features dont matter one bit since the power loss resume function is now gone. These people couldnt get an upgrade right if their lives depended on it. What a waste of my time and money. Ill be returning it. UPDATE Creality refuses to help unless I had purchased directly from them, thats some horrible customer service. Also, my prints were nice and quiet but only until the second layer started. Immediately upon starting the second layer, a high pitched whine starts from one of the fans around the nozzle and the nozzle itself starts burying into the first layer, essentially ruining the print. I tried dozens of prints and they all did the identical thing. Once I replaced the board with my old one, the exact same files printed just fine. These new boards are garbage and worse yet, Creality doesnt care one bit...

This board is a must if you don’t have a space away from earshot to run your printer, and even then still worth the money.

If you wanna get a motherboard that prevents excess wining sound. The 4.2.7 is worth every penny. I vacationally had to sleep in the living room next to the 3-D printer when it runs and now after this purchase just and installing I can sleep peacefully with less noisy sounds. This silent board is wonderful if you have to print objects overnight.

I recently got an Ender 3 3D printer and ordered this board to help with the noise as I live in an apartment. While it does nothing for fan noise, with this board the stepper motors on the printer are nearly silent, a vast improvement over the stock motherboard. It is a drop in replacement, though some of the wires are labeled poorly and dont have much slack, and the firmware is pre-loaded. I would happily recommend to anyone with an Ender 3.

Purchased because I shorted the standard board in my ender 3. I didnt realize how much of a difference it would make. The loudest part on my printer now are the fans. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade the board without breaking the bank.
