Creality V4.2.7 Upgrade Mute Silent Mainboard for Ender 3 Customized Silent Board, Ender 3 Silent Mother Board

I tried my stock board and these seem to be the only replacements offered so I opted to try it, wasnt even looking for the benefits. After startup I thought something was broken, no way was my once 90s dial up 3D printer almost completely silent. After a few days of running I bought more boards for my other machines, get this board!

This thing is whisper quite, and mounted fairly well. The only issue was the micro SD card slot did not line up with the case and I had to modify the case to get it to allow an SD card to be inserted.

Ive done a couple of upgrades -- springs, bed leveler, several printed parts to organize wires, filament guides, etc. -- but this one has had the most value/$. I had a friend recommend this, as on phone calls he could hear the original machine running in the background. Its made a huge change in the sound level, note that it wont be completely silent because the power supply and other fans make noise. Take your time on installation (about an hour,) have plenty of work-space, and make sure to remove the old hot-glue that olds the old wiring connectors to the old board, also working slowly to move each wire one-at-a-time (many of them arent labeled.)

After 6 or 7 months and malfunction burned up and melted.

The company says.... works excellently for the Ender 5 as well. I have an Ender 5 so i bought it. But .... there are NO instructions for installing on an Ender 5. Without instructions you have NOTHING !!! Maybe you need a HEX file ( they say that in the Q and A area but offer no link no help ) Maybe the x y and z lines need to be reversed to zyx ( one you tube vid mentioned this ) Bottom line. You will NEVER get this to work by guessing!!!! And as you have nothing to give you the slightest clue what to do .... youre screwed.

I did not see any print improvement by changing to this board but did hear a major noise improvement. Now just have to figure out how to quiet up the fans.

Had ordered this aug 27th and had a malfunctioning motherboard. Contacted support and they helped me above and beyond to fix or get me a new motherboard. So far have done 6 5hour prints with new one and works flawlessly.

Got this for the thermal runaway protection. but OMG the thing runs SO quiet. Easy installation, just remove old board and put this in in reverse order. be careful removing the plugs from the old board as they secure it with hot glue.

It took about 30-45 minutes to install, and there are many youtube videos that show you how. My Ender 3 Pro went from sounding like a jet engine that annoys anyone within 2 rooms to absolutely silent to the point where it is near my bed and I can easily sleep while it prints. I also recommend installing silent noctua A4-20 fans to replace the stock ones, which is what I did, and now the fans and motors are completely silent. Silencing the motors is the more necessary upgrade though and this board does it perfectly. No complaints, I had no issues, if you have an Ender 3 or Ender 3 pro, I cannot recommend this silent motherboard enough and it is something everyone should add to their printer. The noise difference is unbelievable and the printer sounds the same when it is not moving and when it is printing.

I didnt even realize the print had started when I first installed it. I dont understand it, but its amazing.
