Does great.Enjoy using.Plugged it up and did temperature test first thing.47 degrees Fahrenheit off.Done factory reset procedure .Checked and doubled check .Now it right on the dot.Feels very comfortable using.So many irons have to large in diameter to hold onto while soldering. Not this one.Just an all around pleasure to use.

Is as described. So far so good. Only a few days with it. But it heats up wicked quickly! Melts solder much easier than our butane portable. Why did we not buy this thing earlier!!! Confusing as all get out on the temp settings. Not an issue for us.. as I just turn on and go.. or not working with delicate temp electronics. I am sure if you were.. you would get used to the steps need to change the temps.

Excellent iron. Love the temperature control , light weight, and flexible cord.

Awesome rig. Used the Hakko system at a place I worked at some years back and loved it then. This newer/updated system is even better.

The iron is comfortable and appears durable. Only ad it for two weeks but enjoy using it; its a quality tool. That said, setting temperature is a little tricky. Add to that, complete instructions are not included- once you figure out something is missing you can go online and download a complete owners manual; which should have been included in the first place. It is a quality tool and would purchase other Hakko products.

Move over expensive Weller etc irons....this thing is excellent, consistent temps and heats up VERY fast. Been using it for 2 years steadily and still love it. Dont let the price fool you, lotta pros using this one.

This is a well made quality tool with a full range digital heat adjustment. Used Tix jewelry solder out of the box. Increasing/decreasing temperature is a breeze and nearly immediate. Toss your Weller in the trash.

Heats up fast, works great. Best Ive used.
