Digital Soldering Station with Chisel Tip Pack T18-D08/D12/D24/D32/S3

Ive been using this iron for a few months now as a replacement for my old Weller, and wow, what a difference. My old iron worked, but would take a long time to heat up and had trouble holding temp. This Hakko is ready almost right away after turning it on, and seems to have no problem holding temp as I work. Im a hobbyist, but Id recommend this to anyone. Its not the cheapest iron, but I wish I would have picked this up a long time ago.

Great unit and I would buy it again

I have bought and thrown away many soldering irons over the years. The plan was always to save money but would have saved money if I just got the Hakko soldering station. It heats up in 30 seconds and I could not be happier.

This works great!!! Heats up quickly. Easy to use and is priced right. I would improve the up-down heat control setting, a little awkward, but for the money I am still giving it a 5

Much better than my old $20 Weller. Temature control is great and quickly heats up. I love this thing, makes soldering so much more fun. It feels well built as well.

Very nice. Heats up nice and hot. The wand is comfortable to hold. Solid base.

My first real solder station. Dont know how (or why) I lived without it. I need to find more projects to do! Comes with various size tips that should work for most general tasks. Ill probably order more for more specialized work. The instructions are not complete, but if you register on the Hakko site you get the more in depth manual with information on advanced settings.
