I have also used Hatchbox and Proto Paradigm PLA. Dremel PLA is the most consistent, slices the best and durable Ive used. The only downside is the price.

Bought this for my new Dremel 3d 20 and I must say I love the way my prints come out. Will buy again

Very rich purple with an ever so slight transparency. Im using it on a FlashForge Dreamer and getting fantastic results. I use blue Painters tape and rub the surface with a glue stick to prevent any dislodging of the model. Dont bother heating the bed (if youre on a Dreamer or some other printer). as this Filament is meant for the Dremel (which does not have a heating bed) My extruder is set to 205c, and thats all there is to it. Ive turned out many flawless models with super low issues. Now going for other colors! Hope Dremel releases a glow in the dark filament at some point.

So,... Im an Industrial Designer and we have a Murphy Bed at our studio office in Miami so when we have late nights, one of us gets to stay and take one for the team. The murphy bed has a tenderncy of sticking out offsets almost .75 or 3/4,..or for some of us that use mms at work,..roughly 19mm. So we recently purchased a 3D20 Model from Dremel and to tell you Im impressed is an understatement but IM IMPRESSED! The set up was easy (compared to some other ones I used in my professional life) and the filament was a nice PLA material,..about 2mm thick which is nice cause its going to drop a good amount of material. Since I had a day to do this model and print it was nice to know the set up was a sinch. I build this Bed Hook /stopper in Solidworks in a matter of minutes and after a few mods I used the Micro SD card they provided to save my work and insert into the system of the dremel 3D20. Once sliced it told me it would be 8 hrs,..yeah,..8 hrs,,.ok, to be fair..I did mine as a solid piece. why? dude,...this has to hold the weight of a bed plus the wooden support and it has springs so its probably some 100 lbs of force,..give or take. I added four 4 flat 1/8 holes to drill 1 long screws. Since it would clear itd be nicely sunk into the bed frame and the printed piece... It worked well but I had done one piece and was on my way to printing the second. I personally love this dremel, its a great price, the PLA is rock solid, clean and strong material for what I needed. It gave very little flexibility so Gen 2. might have a little less support in order to have some give/ flexibility. I highly recommend you get at least two filaments. Theyll run fast once you begin enjoying the world of 3D printing.

Though material extruded good, and seemed very consistent. It is not any different from any other PLA that I have tested to earn a 40 dollars for 1 POUND!!! 1 POUND....really??? There is plenty of great manufacturers of PLA, ABS, Nylon, PET.... Seemecnc, Makergeeks, Taulamn, 3d solutions, hatchbox. If you new what they paid for, for the raw pellets. Granted you are paying for processing, and I will give them that, but not 40 dollars...

Im relatively new to 3D printing, i purchased my first printer a Dremel 3D45 6 months ago. At first I thought the filament was great, now after Ive gone through many spools at a ridicules price Im finding this stuff is garbage. I have many years of experience programming and running CNC machines so i picked up this hobby up pretty Quick. Im finding once you open a spool its OK but about 2/3 or less through the spool then it becomes very brittle as a result failed prints . If you place it between your thumb and four finger and bend it, it snaps(garbage). I love the Dremel printer but the filament is less to be desired. Im now looking for an alternative.

The filament works as advertised but is expensive compared to other PLA products out there.

Hate that Dremel has their own filament spool size so I can’t use normal 1kg spools with my dremel printer. If you don’t have a dremel printer don’t buy it. If you do have a dremel printer I’d still think twice. It’s the same quality as the stuff you get for $17 a kilogram.
