21-11-2024If I could leave no stars for this product, I would. Other filament brands do wayyy better. This one kept jamming, breaking, and snapping - to the point it even damaged my 3D printer. I may have to purchase a new part for it as a result. Like, it would create a jam - because the roll itself would get stuck. So, because it wasn’t a legit jam - my machine would keep trying while the roll itself was stuck. I will NEVER buy this brand again. I’ve used the same type of filament with no issue. It’s just this one I’ve had this problem with.

> 3 daySo,... Im an Industrial Designer and we have a Murphy Bed at our studio office in Miami so when we have late nights, one of us gets to stay and take one for the team. The murphy bed has a tenderncy of sticking out offsets almost .75 or 3/4,..or for some of us that use mms at work,..roughly 19mm. So we recently purchased a 3D20 Model from Dremel and to tell you Im impressed is an understatement but IM IMPRESSED! The set up was easy (compared to some other ones I used in my professional life) and the filament was a nice PLA material,..about 2mm thick which is nice cause its going to drop a good amount of material. Since I had a day to do this model and print it was nice to know the set up was a sinch. I build this Bed Hook /stopper in Solidworks in a matter of minutes and after a few mods I used the Micro SD card they provided to save my work and insert into the system of the dremel 3D20. Once sliced it told me it would be 8 hrs,..yeah,..8 hrs,,.ok, to be fair..I did mine as a solid piece. why? dude,...this has to hold the weight of a bed plus the wooden support and it has springs so its probably some 100 lbs of force,..give or take. I added four 4 flat 1/8 holes to drill 1 long screws. Since it would clear itd be nicely sunk into the bed frame and the printed piece... It worked well but I had done one piece and was on my way to printing the second. I personally love this dremel, its a great price, the PLA is rock solid, clean and strong material for what I needed. It gave very little flexibility so Gen 2. might have a little less support in order to have some give/ flexibility. I highly recommend you get at least two filaments. Theyll run fast once you begin enjoying the world of 3D printing.
