> 3 dayUsing this in a Dremel Idea Builder 3D45 and the results were great! The standard 3D45 spools come with RFID so once placed into the printer, the settings are automatically set. Because these do not have said RFID tag included, the printer prompted me to choose the material type and then the various other settings for the material such as extruder temp, heated bed temp, etc. This was no issue and I had control over each either at the printer itself or within the Dremel slicing software as well the online printer interface. The product came properly vacuum sealed and with desiccant pack included. Because of habit; once opened I placed thefilament in my DIY dry box (semi-airtight box with loose descant) for them to properly cure and remove any moisture, however, this likely may not be needed right out of the seal. The material a day or two later was placed in the printer and not a single issue. Being hard pressed to find something wrong; the only thing I could come up with is that the actual spool the filament is on, unlike the 3D45 counterparts, does not have holes or spacing in the spoked areas. This makes it a bit tricky to get the spool back out of the spool holder built into the printer. I have large hands and as such could not get a grip on the edge to remove so I simply had to place a wooden stick and slide/pry out the spool some to get a grip. Overall nothing to be concerned with but something that caught me in one of those Ah Ha! moments. Overall a great product and price and I will continue to purchase these spools of filament. They work great and cannot recommend enough!

> 3 dayExtremely consistent filament. We operate many printers including home built kits this PLA is consistent roll to roll and color to color. Well worth the price especially if you count failed prints and time cleaning heads clogged by cheaper filament. We are using it on everything PLA in 1.75 and if Dremel ever produces a 3mm well use that too - this is actually a big cost saver given the quality.

> 3 dayI have a 3D Printer Farm. I have 10 Dremel 3D20, 3 Dremel 3D40, 2 Dremel 3D45 and 2 Advanced Matterhacker Pulse XE NylonX 3D Printers. My daughter does 3D modeling with CAD. We only use Dremel Filament when it comes to making quality prints. I have tried almost all the best brands out there. I even go to the Matterhacker Office to talk to them about their filaments since they are the largest and most popular 3D filament store and manufacturer. I use a lot of the Build Series and NylonX filaments. But when it comes to printing anything with brilliant colors, and silky finish, I prefer Dremel. Aside from that, the Dremel printers were designed as a full eco system. The Printers are designed around their filament. I don’t have to worry or waste so much time, frustration, and money trying to tune a 3D printer to work with random filaments. Trust me, you will tear your hair out in frustration when you just can’t get it perfect. But with the Dremel 3D printer, the profile is already in the slicer. Dremel has 2 slicers that come with the printers. The Dremel 3D Slicer is a Dremel branded Cura. I use them sometimes when It is a small thing, but most of the time I prefer Simplify3D. It just has the best supports. I know all about the complaints of some people that their filaments break. All filaments break. I have all brands, they all break. PLA is brittle. You need to know how to prevent it from happening. First, make sure to keep all filaments in a dry box. It is not enough to keep them in the packaging. I have an airtight plastic bin and put rechargeable dehumidifiers. I keep humidity at 20%-30%. Second, use Capricorn tubes to guide the filaments to the Extruder. It should be in the point where the filament has a sharp bend. It reduces pressure on the extruder as well as the filament. They are inexpensive so it is really worth doing. Lastly, if you are leaving the filament inside the printer, you need to put the Desiccant that came with the filament and leave it inside the printer beside the filament. Dremel filament is at the same level as the PRO filament and you can tell when you put the finished print side by side with a print made from Matterhacker PRO series filament. They have special additives that let them print at higher temperatures. That is why they print at 220 degrees. The hotter temperature allows the print colors to be silky smooth and not that cheap shiny plastic look. I highly recommend it for Dremel printers. The default settings in Simplify 3D work for 80% of the things I make. Dremels require little maintenance. Just changing the build tape and adding a little oil every now and then. Using Dremel filament will keep them from breaking down as well. I buy about 50 boxes of Dremel filament a month. I really like them.

> 3 dayIf I could leave no stars for this product, I would. Other filament brands do wayyy better. This one kept jamming, breaking, and snapping - to the point it even damaged my 3D printer. I may have to purchase a new part for it as a result. Like, it would create a jam - because the roll itself would get stuck. So, because it wasn’t a legit jam - my machine would keep trying while the roll itself was stuck. I will NEVER buy this brand again. I’ve used the same type of filament with no issue. It’s just this one I’ve had this problem with.
