> 3 dayThis is my second dyson cordless vacuum. I have 4 dogs. After trying to go a cheap route after my first dyson bit the dust, I lasted less than a month before buying another Dyson. The suction and technology is unmatched. One of my favorite attachments is the small beater. It makes vacuuming the couch SO easy.

Greater than one weekI dont write reviews very often but felt I needed to based on negative reviews I read. I was hesitant to drop $600 on a vacuum because of the reviews, but most of the negative reviews have no merit, IMO. First of all, the vacuum is not that heavy...at 6.5lbs, its two pounds lighter than a gallon of milk. If you cant carry a gallon of milk around then youre in pretty terrible shape. Not only that, but when youre actually vacuuming, some of the weight is alleviated by letting gravity do its work. Second, having to hold the trigger down is not bad at all. You dont have to squeeze the d*mn thing as hard as you can to get it to run. You barely have to touch it to trigger the vacuums power. You can have a very relaxed hand while using this vacuum and not run into any issues. The different modes seem to work fine. Its pretty incredible how much stuff it picks up when its on turbo mode. Its true the battery doesnt last long when using it, but it has pretty good suction on auto so you really shouldnt need to use turbo too often unless you want to do a deep cleaning. I cant comment on the issue of the vacuum not working after a couple of months. Weve had it for two months and it still works, so only time will tell if that issue comes up.

Greater than one weekThe Dyson V11 Torque Drive Cordless Vacuum is a top-of-the-line cleaning machine that offers powerful suction, intelligent sensors, and a convenient and sleek design. With its ability to adjust suction power and battery life based on the surface being cleaned and a large 0.2-gallon bin capacity, it can tackle any mess with ease. The vacuums versatility is further enhanced by its ability to easily swap brush tools and its support for multiple surfaces. One of the standout features of the V11 is its dynamic adjustment, which adjusts suction power and estimates battery life based on the resistance of the brush head. This allows for a more effective cleaning experience. The vacuum also has an LCD screen that displays battery life and suction power, allowing users to easily switch between Eco, Auto, and Boost modes. Most the time im in auto though versus boosting or eco.

> 3 dayI replaced my old upright Dyson with this vacuum and was amazed at how fast the canister filled up- ok, part of the reason is that it’s a pretty small canister, but it’s super easy to empty so that’s NBD. But I had vacuumed my rooms just a few days prior with my old vacuum and the first pass through the room I had to empty the canister Twice! It is so lightweight and makes a cute little ‘thoonk’ sound when you release the trigger you might find yourself looking for excuses to clean.. I know that sounds sales-pitch-y but I’m a procrastinator and now I notice that I use the Dyson as the excuse to not do other things instead of the other way around. It’s kinda weird! The accessories are good, especially the smaller motorized head, and so far the ‘no tangle’ claim has been accurate on both motorized options. And even at 5’6” I’ve been able to reach most cobwebs in the corners of the high ceilings. (I’m trying to convince my mother to let me buy one for her, she’s older, and I think this would be perfect for her -and her pets too!)

> 3 dayIve had decades of vacuums, including Kirby. This is the one Ive been waiting for. Light and powerful. Changing accessories couldnt be easier. The display on the end of the filter told me I had a plug in the wand and to clean the filter (also exactly how to). The suction grabs it all. The soft brush did a better job on fans and blinds than my shop vac. The charge lasts longer than my will to vacuum. My only negative is that I developed a blister on the inside of my index finger after first day use. The trigger might need a redesign. For now, I wear a glove.

> 3 dayIt was time to replace our old Dyson cord vacuum. I think it was 17 years old. Since it had performed so well over the years, I immediately looked to Dyson again. I admit I was a bit skeptical that a smaller stick vacuum could do the job in an almost 2000 sq ft house. We are senior citizens who have an active lifestyle, live in the mountains off of dusty roads, have house cats and 2 Aussie dogs. Since we also have horses and acreage, we are busy and the cleaning sometimes takes a lower priority. I wanted something that was easy to use, quick, and not having to drag a cord around sounded really good! Hubby thought I was making a big mistake. But, after assembling it and using it today, he has changed his mind, and I really, really like this handy and powerful vacuum. Some of the features take a bit of getting used to, like taking the tube with the power head off to dump the bin. In fact, I was concerned about the small size of the bin, and how often I might need to dump it. But after using it to vacuum most of the house, Im no longer concerned. Im used to it now, and it takes just a moment. And...it did a great job, our area rugs look great, and it moves so easily to our hardwood floors. One really big plus for us is that it runs off battery charge. We live off the grid and generate our own electricity with solar and wind. On cloudy, windless days, I was basically forbidden to vacuum, unless I started a generator. But now, I can have a charge ready and get it done! Couldnt be happier. If, having using this for a time we find something to change our opinion, I will edit my review to reflect it. Can definitely recommend this product!

> 3 dayI’ve been using Dyson animal vacuums since they were invented. They do better than any other vacuum in the battle against dog hair from our 3 dogs. But this stick vacuum picks up more dog hair than any plug-in vacuum I’ve ever used. It’s just amazing how much more it picks up. Add to that not having to hassle with a cord, and this thing is just amazing. It’s so effortless to just grab it and vacuum one part of the house everyday. It actually makes vacuuming fun because it just picks up so much stuff so easily.
