> 3 dayExtremely easy to setup, literally ready to print within 10 minutes of getting it. Unpackaged plugged in and leveled the plate. Do some research and learn what you need to do before you start printing. I watched some youtube videos and read forums before I got the printer. I ended up damaging the LCD screen somehow a couple months after getting the printer. I emailed Elegoo through Amazon and they are shipping me a new LCD, free of charge. Terrific people at Elegoo. I share custody of my children with my ex wife and I have them in the summers. My 14year old son was here with me all summer and we had such a great time with this printer, finding prints, making our own gadgets and brainstorming on what we could come up with. It was priceless for me to bond with my son like this, we literally spent hours upon hours in the garage designing and coming up with new ideas. He learned how to design in fusion 360 (free version) and ended up teaching me some stuff. Truly grateful for this amazing printer.

> 3 dayElegoo is the best printer 3D printer company on the market. The print quality of the Saturn is incredible. Easy to use and the cheapest “large build area” printer on the market. The best part about Elegoo is there customer service though. I damaged my Saturn a couple months into ownership and even though it was 100% my fault they there customer service responded quickly and took very good care of me. Top notch company all around.

> 3 dayWhat can I say except it just works. The quality is amazing and its built to be user friendly. I do have a fdm printer so while this was my first resin printer Im not new to 3D printing. The extra size is very much appreciated it. If you have reservations dont.

> 3 dayIts the best built mid size printer at the lowest price! Everything here except the top is metal. EVERYTHING. I guess some knobs, etc arent but anything else, solid metal. The build plate has heavy duty tightening screws, and is a chonker. If you look at the entire build plate and mechanism its a ton of metal. Theres a ball joint, spring, etc, and a milled portion at the back where it mates with a post on the z carriage perfectly, zero wobble, solid. Ive seen the simpler mechanisms on some other mid sized printers, 4 slot screws. Now you could argue which system is better but you cant argue which took more effort and metal to implement, clearly this one. For me the ball joint as long as it can be tightened sufficiently is the better mechanism. Gives more flexibility. What if that needs to be squared to is slightly tilted? You cant really do that on the slot screw mechanism. The ball joint perfectly mates with the surface neeeding to be level with, even if tilted. Not saying the machine isnt square, but if it wasnt this mechanism accounts for that. And the tightening? There are two HEAVY chonker screws here that when tightening absolutely rock solid hold the build plate level. Ive had this since release and havent been super gentle with it, and no issue. And the vat? Again, rock solid mechanism. If I had one complaint its that I wish the screws were captive on the vat, so you couldnt lose them. But thats an issue with all mid size resin printers Ive seen. Honestly its crazy how Elegoo is selling this absolute beast of a printer for 500$. Other than the lift top plastic lid there are zero cut corners here. No plastic vat, still has a sloped build plate, still has ball mechanism, has ethernet, the z axis has two linear rails, etc. Its an absolute rock of a machine, and is super easy to use. Id fully recommend! The only issue is they cant make these fast enough to keep up with demand!

Greater than one weekI owned an Elegoo Mars since 2020 and rarely had problems with it. The Saturn S has failed almost consistently to produce a successful print. It constantly un-levels itself and it is almost impossible to get plate adhesion. Every attempt is followed by having to remove the vat and remove all of the resin that stuck to the film instead of the plate. This is not strictly user error. I have printed for three years and not encountered so many problems in all that time as I have so far with this new machine. I am so disappointed that I spent over $300 on a machine that despite my best efforts, does not want to perform. I dont recommend this machine to anyone.

> 3 dayBought this as a replacement to an anycubic machine that took a crap on me. I was impressed right away with this machine, as it was a bit more straight forward on its setup. I like the menu options better and the software is okay, but nothing to write home about. However. There is a learning curve with resin printers, I got this machine because I do alot of miniatures, and when I say alot I mean it. This thing cranks out awesome minis when you take the time to set it up properly. Be patient, this machine prints a little slow. But will give you beautiful models when you are dont with it. (Also get a magnetic build plate, I got one from a 3rd party seller but it will make your life 10x easier!)
