Great printer, also elegoo has great support. Sent a new screeen and FEP when mine got scratched. Very impressed!

Excellent 3D printer. Ive been using 3D printing technology since the 1990s in my job, but the features of this printer finally convinced me to buy one for myself for the first time. The printer was packaged well and was easy and intuitive to set up. Watching some online videos both from Elegoo and others is helpful, but wasnt necessary. The only thing I worried about initially was leveling out the build plate, but it quickly became a non-issue. I never did a test print but launched straight into my own prints and adjusting the settings to my own preferences, all easy to do for someone with the skills to make 3D models and the interest to print themselves. Getting your prints to work out successfully takes, of course, a learning curve. But the printer has behaved predictably and reliably over the last 4 months of use with little adjustment. I have printed out a number of successful models over that time. Proper care must be taken not to ding the FEP sheet (like any printer in this class) and take care of the build plate (I use a plastic scraper meant for wind shield work to remove prints so as not to mar the surface). I also feel its important to properly clean the build plate and any other parts of the printer that may get resin on them after each use. I sometimes leave resin in the tank over multiple days, covered and in a dark basement if I plan on doing additional prints, and only drain the tank if the printer will not be used or if there was a print failure where cured bits may have ended up in the resin. The printer has been a joy to use. It has faithfully printed out the models Ive given it, and if there has been an issue with the models, it was MY failure in my model or in the settings I chose which caused the issue, not the printer (as a wise old friend once said the problem is a short between the seat and the keyboard). If you expect the printer to show up and do everything, I doubt any printer is right for you. If you expect to dig in and work hard learning the intricacies of the printing technology and design your models to make best use of it, and take care of your printer, you will greatly enjoy this printer. FOLLOW UP: One of the fans started making noise, and while I can usually jostle the printer and get it to stop, I chose to contact Elegoo about a replacement (I was asking about what fan I could use as a replacement). My inquiry was met with a response in less than 12 hours, and an immediate offer to send a replacement fan, which is on the way. I was very satisfied with the customer service thus far.

I am new to 3D printing, and I never dreamed I could get a machine at this price that would print this amazing!!! When my first print came out, I did not expect the smoothness and fine details. Many of the reviews here go through all areas of this printer I am not going to repeat what has already been said. Short version: Packaging excellent, Setup a breeze, Cleanup easier than I ever expected and Negatives NONE. NOW WHATS IMPORTANT TO ME: Support: I can not say enough about the GREAT ELEGOO support. I had a small problem with the U Disk that came with the machine (I used one I had so no down time) I contacted ELEGOO support, and they responded very fast and without me asking mailed a new U disk to me. Knowing ELEGOO support is there when I need them is priceless! Would I purchase again if I had to do over YES! I am sold on ELEGOO I am now looking at another Resin Tank for convenience one of their wash and cure stations and the ELEGOO Neptune FDM printer. ELEGOO Customer for Life!

Upgrading from a Mars Pro, this printer is a breeze to setup and get printing. Print volume is nice and this printer is a lot quieter than the Mars pro. Fewer fans. The sand blasted build plate is nice. No adhesion issues yet. One note on tripling you build plate size: it’s a lot to clean. I use a wham bam flex plate on the Mars, so I didn’t clean the build plate after every print. I’d just pop it off and flex it into the ultrasonic. I forgot how much work there was getting the print off and cleaning the build plate. I just ordered a flax plate for this one. If you are going to get one of these, get a flex plate. Wait until you get your printer before you order it though. Apparently there are 3 different plate sizes. All just a few mm apart. This one is 192x126 (v3). You should measure it before you get one. A note on price gouging: Elegoo sells an awesome reliable machine at a price significantly below the competitors price point. There are many new stores popping up on Amazon that bought as many of these as they could and raised the price to somewhere between $850-1400. They suck. I waited weeks for it to be offered by Elegoo to get the right price.

UPDATE: After all was said and done, they sent me a brand new printer and they made sure I didnt have to buy it back at a price increase by providing me with a personal coupon code. It was a bit of a hassle but Im happy with the printer. This is a train wreck. The official Elegoo store allowed someone to damage the z-axis rail, take half of the tools, nick & scratch the case and the LCD, get resin fingers on everything, THEN leave wet resin in the vat, repackage it such that the packaging could never be removed (to the point where you can hold the printer in the air from the stuck packing) and then they sent it to me as brand new. I have contacted them and they have still not reached out to help me. This is a hot potato and one of you will be sent this printer.

People rave about how great it is. Its okay not great. Instructions are not straight forward resin tray sit flush when in machine. The printer is rather quiet but the front display is horrible and not intuitive at all. Front display is very low quality like a tablet from 1999. Getting files to print on the slicer software is horrible even its own software wont recognize its own files. I used lychee and it worked perfectly.overall its okay be prepared for cleaning up messes there no good way to empty used resin for filtering.

I am a table top and war gamming enthusiast, and even host my own DnD games weekly with a bunch of friends and co-workers. This printer has been phenomenal in making miniatures and giving me high quality prints constantly. I came from originally using another resin printer for all my prints, and I have not gone back to using it at all. This printer has been the best money I have spent on all of my 3D printing equipment. However, it was a little confusing at first because, since its a larger form printer and a dual locking axis it took me a few tries to get it leveled. When I figured it out though, it was smooth sailing from there on. I unfortunately had my FEP film break on me but, I cannot say if that was due to a manufacturing issue or a end user error while cleaning the vat. I only have a few cons with this printer. It is really really easy to miss the MAX fill mark on the vat, the fan being off while not printing was not a default setting; however, the fan part was easy to fix after reading up on how to edit the gcode, and the printer is not well sealed so the small from the resin is a bit more potent than normal. Which I feel like this could be fixed by adding a small rubber coat to the rim of the lid. Other than that I have loved this thing to Saturn and back! (Get it?)

It’s very straightforward and easy to use. The only problem I have this line through the print. I’ve emailed Elegoo so hopefully they can fix this or let me know what the issue is. I sliced the model three different times so I know it isn’t the slicer. Update. Elegoo contacted me. We think it was a slicer issue.

Had this printer for over 6 months and it is just FANTASTIC. ELEGOO support is also top notch. I have had printers from all the major companies and the SATURN is one of the BEST!!
