It has a learning curve, getting the machine dialed in to the resin and room conditions, but once set it has worked excellent. I am new to the resin printing side of making things and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality this machine produces. It is amazing.

Printer is easy to use, prints smooth detailed lines and is a great tool. I had an issue where the build plate screws were stripped but tech support responded daily and made sure I was offered a replacement or a very cheap spare part. Ill be buying my next printer from them.

Great product. Reasonable learning curve. Great resources from other users available online.

I can’t rate the print quality because I never got it to work. This is my third 3D printer, so I’m not new to printing. I followed all directions and used the leveling sheet included (thick card) with kit. After 3 failed attempts at printing and wasted resin, the bed was warped and couldn’t keep testing prints. Customer service: email only. No phone numbers available. So if you ask for help through email, you’ll get a reply 12-24 hours later. Their solution was to send me parts that was going to take up to 28 business days to arrive. Way too long to wait for something you’re paying a nice chunk of change for and wasted $40 dollars worth of 8k resin on top of it. I was also told to use two sheets of white paper to level instead of the included card. Something that should have been mentioned beforehand. So they need to update their instructions on the machines and most likely need firmware updates. I’d wait on this one.

So this is my first 3D printer. Lets just say its amazing!! I took about 2 years to figure out what style of printer I wanted and this was the one. It came between the Elegoo Mars and Elegoo Saturn 4k <---- this was the deciding factor hands down. Ive only printed one thing so far and Im pretty happy with it. Im starting a new soon cause I love to paint miniatures and it will be something star wars related!! The a couple things bad happened to me was I had to get a replacement machine due to a screw defect and I had a power failure happen and the plate doesnt stopped it gets to the top screw cover and just powers through it. I contact support again and they said they would send me a replacement part 3 weeks ago and Im still waiting on it. Lastly resin smells pretty bad so look into something to help with that. Im thinking about there air filter thats USB charged but not sure yet. Im using carbon filter that I made and Ill let you know how that goes on my next print. Now Im looking into the kickstarter Jupiter and may buy in not sure yet though!

Great resolution and build volume for printing figurines. Pros: Large print volume, amazing detail, network file transfer is a dream come true. Cons: The cooling fans are a bit lauder than on the mars printer, higher suction to fep requires more supports on parts.

I am going to have to come back and edit this review when I have better luck. I am NOT, by any means, downplaying the capability of this printer. It is an amazing piece of technology. I am just frustrated and having trouble getting mine dialed in for the specific use I bought it for (To print my own tiny heads in 1/6 action figure scale). Which is exactly why I intend to get better at using it, and once it IS dialed in, come back and edit this review with photos of beautiful things Ive printed on my machine, free of errors. The test rooks supplied with the printer printed absolutely gorgeous. Everything else after that has been almost hit or total miss.

Ordered the Elegoo Saturn 8k as a Christmas present for a family member. The exterior of the package was in great condition when it arrived. We set up the printer only to hear a bunch of components moving around freely on the inside of the unit. Being a first time buyer of this product we didn’t know what to expect so we ran through the setup process as it directs. Made it to the step of checking exposure and there was light coming through the build screen and the LCD touch screen read the Elegoo brand. Go to start the fist test print with no luck. Reached out to Elegoo Support with no reply. After searching the internet it seems that this may be a frequent issue. My guess, all those moving parts on the inside of the machine are parts that didn’t get secured before shipping.

Extremely easy to setup, literally ready to print within 10 minutes of getting it. Unpackaged plugged in and leveled the plate. Do some research and learn what you need to do before you start printing. I watched some youtube videos and read forums before I got the printer. I ended up damaging the LCD screen somehow a couple months after getting the printer. I emailed Elegoo through Amazon and they are shipping me a new LCD, free of charge. Terrific people at Elegoo. I share custody of my children with my ex wife and I have them in the summers. My 14year old son was here with me all summer and we had such a great time with this printer, finding prints, making our own gadgets and brainstorming on what we could come up with. It was priceless for me to bond with my son like this, we literally spent hours upon hours in the garage designing and coming up with new ideas. He learned how to design in fusion 360 (free version) and ended up teaching me some stuff. Truly grateful for this amazing printer.
