Prints nice once you get the hang of it id recommend this printer to new users easy to use. Iv only ever had fdm printers before the saturn and Im impressed with the printer definitely excited to see what comes next

The print quality of this machine was good however, if one cant get the printed pieces off of the build plate without destroying them because they are adhered very strongly (encountered this twice with repeated inital setup to make sure I followed correctly, yet still needed to use a hammer with provided chisel, which does one of two things or both like destroying your printed piece and/or knicking the build plate and/or knocking plate out of level) withbthese infractions what good is it actually? And there is absolutely NO help from the manufacturers website concerning this issue with THIS machine. Had to google on Christmas eve to only find info on reddit where other consumers speak of buying an aftermarket flex plate that costs $50. SERIOUSLY! I already paid $500 for machine and have to pay another fifty note for an aftermarket accessory to make it work right? No thank you! The manufacturer needs to fix this period as 1-for half a grand one should not need to provide somewhat hard labor to use this product and 2 - the resin is wasted on broken/chipped pieces due to trying to get off plate and at $30 plus for a 2lb bottle is not cheap! This is the second machine Im returning in a weeks time as the first one had a defective UV lighting bed. Also the instructions provided dont match reality and could use a update as during setup, USB automatically loads test files, so there is no need to press USB button, which does nothing to indicate such and would have been a nice side note in the instructions to name a few!

I purchased two of these units to add to my maker workshop. We build studio scale models for the gaming and movie studios and been using 3D FDM printers for years. I was excited to try SLA printers to capture even higher detail but the experience hasnt been great. Were only having about a 40-60% print success rate on both machines. We have tried numerous print settings, and have consumed countless FEP sheets, resin and IPA due to failures. We are using Elegoo resin with its recommended settings and still with limited success. When the prints do succeed they are beautiful but at the cost of failure, it just to hight to continue using these units.

The Saturn is an easy printer to use with great quality. Elegoo customer service is great they were very helpful to me.

Tried to print. Didnt work. To my delight I found the UV lights to not be working at all. I was sold a broken unit. overall quite disappointed considering I overpaid for the unit. The exposure test showed no errors, though the lights simply do not function.

This review is mainly about customer service as being an existing Elegoo owner I can vouch for their printer results. When I first received my printer I noticed that the corner by the power supply plug had been damaged in transit from what had to be a solid impact as the packaging and box showed surprisingly little damage. No big deal, its in the back and simple to make secure again with a little effort. At this point I started a test print and realized the rear fans were not spinning up, this is more concerning as the LEDs are going to get hot and really do need some cooling. Contacted Elegoo support and after reviewing the damage I was given the options of return through amazon or have replacement parts sent out and perform the repairs myself. Not trusting Amazon wouldnt just trash the returned printer I opted to perform the repairs. The parts ship from China so it took about 1.5-2 weeks for them to arrive and took maybe 15 minuets to swap the parts into the new chassis and boom fully functional printer. This is my first time needing to use their support and it was handled excellently. Along with just recommending the printers in general, I can definitely recommend them for their support if you have issues. You just need to be patient as the time zone difference can drag out correspondence but the end result is excellent.

So I ran into a little problem with a leak in the vat but Elegoo immediately offered to fix my problem by sending me out parts and even a new bottle of resin !!! Great support. As for print quality it’s absolutely amazing and pretty much ready to go out of the box within minutes. This kills my Prusa FDM printer as that always seems to have problems. As for the software trust me use Lychee Slicer as it is awesome. This is the best deal in Resin printers believe me. Will definitely buy another one.

This is my first 3D printer, it was so easy to use, managed to produce great quality prints first try. Build plate leveling is fairly simple. If you are a noob like me just research maintenance and clean up, thats where I screwed up. Customer service is awesome, I ruined my printer screen cleaning it (noob mistake) contacted elegoo and they sent me a replacement for free. Over all im greatly satisfied with the purchase.

Once you learn the ins and out of the machine it is a great printer.
