> 3 dayI love this printer and recommend it to anyone who wants a larger resin printer. I have had only one issue with adhesion but that was my own fault. If you have an elegoo resin printer already you know how to use this one.

> 3 dayTheres a reason Elegoo is such a well known brand when it comes to resin. After narrowing my search down to 3 options, I decided to go with the Saturn 2. This is a great printer for getting into Resin printing. High quality machine and very easy to get setup and ready to print. Note that resin is a finicky material and youre going to have to do a little work on your end to properly calibrate everything. Take the time to research different calibration and leveling methods to avoid headache. Most negative comments Ive seen about the printer can be attributed to user error rather than anything related to the machine, resin printers are NOT plug and play devices. Once you get everything dialed in, you can crank out some amazing quality prints. The large print bed really lets you crank out a ton of prints at once if you want to. The user interface is very straightforward and easy to use. Only minor inconvenience is the USB port is placed on the right side near the back which can make it cumbersome to reach in some setups, so plan your printer placement accordingly. Highly recommend this machine if youre looking to jump into resin printing.

> 3 dayThis was my first resin printer & I am absolutely thrilled with how gorgeous the prints are. Elegoos set up instructions are not exactly the most descriptive but there is a great community on Youtube with tips. Their instructions seem to assume you already know all the basics of printing. But after a few Youtube how tos I had no problems getting a successful print done. I highly recommend getting Elegoos wash & cure set & make sure to order 8k resin (there is none included here) Also over a gallon of IPA for cleaner. Elegoo includes a thumbstick with Chitubox for splicing & again Youtube was my how to getting started with it. Overall very happy with the printer & Elegoos system. Elegantly made!

> 3 daySo my first 3D printer was the OG elegoo Mars, loved it but once I got the hang of it ( which was really fast ) I needed a bigger build vol. sadly the Saturn was about a year off, I got a $1,600 machine from another company & I wasted my money, it gave me so many headaches so I broke down & got the Saturn & it feels like home. Reliable, quiet & a pretty small footprint, now we need a HUGE ONE!

> 3 dayI could not be happier with the Elegoo Saturn. It is very well built, quiet and just works great. The companys support team is very responsive and extremely helpful. I had a small issue and with just a couple of emails they took care of me very quickly. My printed items come out perfectly with no layer shifting and exceptional quality. The built plate is perfectly flat and with the right settings the parts stay attached very well. Perhaps too well if you are printing a large part that is flat on the build plate but now I have a magnetic build plate which has kept the great adhesion while make it very easy to get your parts off without damaging them. If you are looking for a printer of this size I feel this is by far the best value out there. If youre new to 3D resin printers and want to start with a medium sized printer this is a great one to start with but just expect that there will a learning curve so perhaps start with the Elegoo resins that already have the setting posted.

> 3 dayIll start by saying the first month of this printer was solid, with generally decent prints coming out about 50% of the time and garbage the other 50%. As a first time 3d printer user that didnt seem awful. I did have the fep break a couple times in the 3 months Ive had it with small bits of resin getting on the screen which can be a nightmare getting off but none ever leaked anywhere important. After about a hundred hours of printing over those 3 months though it seems like the LCD has gone out. I first noticed when I went to clean the tank and only half of the tank hardened, the other half just had the layer of resin in it. At first I thought maybe it was the resin itself so I popped open a new bottle, pealed off the old layer of resin and tried again, this time literally none of the resin hardened. So, now Im reaching out to Elegoo to see if I can get some help, it really doesnt seem like a piece of equipment this expensive should just stop working from casual use (effectively less than an hour a day over 3 months) but maybe thats just my inexperience with 3d printers. UPDATE 9/22/22 Edit: I contacted the manufacture and they agreed that the LCD had gone out after doing some trouble shooting with me. They were very helpful and mailed me a new one that got here within a week. It took me a week or so to put it in and do another test print, which failed (LCD looks good though). Ive done a million adjustments, replaced the FEP, rebalanced it and tried 3 more prints making adjustments each time. At this point Im convinced Ive just gotten a lemon. It worked for about a month and nothing I can do at this point is getting this thing to work. Id suggest avoiding this model, maybe pick up one of the newer ones or from another company.

> 3 dayThis is a great beginner printer, Resin printers are a little more expensive, but the fact that I do not need to spend so much time leveling the print bed as I did on the filament printer that I had was what sealed the deal for me.
