> 24 hourThe quadra-cut bits are very smooth cutting quality bits. I stopped buying bits from Lowes and only buy Freud bits from amazon now. They are the same price or cheaper and much better quality than the tiny selection Lowes carries.

> 24 hourSolid router bits that make a nice profile with very minimal (if any) burning. Sharp cutting blades, like all of my other freud bits I expect a long service life before needing sharpened or replaced.

> 24 hourI use 1/4 round over bits on almost everything I build, mostly outdoor furniture using Western Red Cedar. I always follow up the rounding over with my balloon sander, so dont always pay attention to how nice an edge the router actually makes. And, it is kind of hard to tell when your router bit is worn out. Freud is a pretty good name, so I tried one of their bits and was amazed at how much difference it made. Hardly required any sanding afterwards.

> 24 hourAnother flawless cut. Time saver, requires very little sanding prior to finishing. I own a few Freud Quadra Cut bits & will purchase more.

> 24 hourI bought this to round the endgrains of a fair number of pieces of pine on edge, planed down to exactly 1 by 2 for a large model, and used it on a Bosch 1617 2 hp on a Bosch RA1181 table. The performance was flawless. The bit is 2.5 in diameter, 7.85 in circumference. If you run this at the max speed (25,000 RPM) of the Bosch 1716, the outer edge travels at almost 196,349 inches per minute, or about 185 miles/hour! Not quite Mach 1, but a lot faster than needed or safe. I used a speed at what seemed like 15,000 RPM (the Bosch router does not have an RPM calibrated dial) and the bit made clean cuts, even in end grain (several pieces clamped together) at moderate feed speeds. I have the little sister bit, 3/4 rounding over, 1/2 shank, and it has gotten a lot of use and it has stayed very sharp with minimal pitch build-up. Be aware of the size of this bit. Your table or base needs to have an opening larger then the 2.5 diameter. One of my tables does not, and none of my bases do.
