> 3 dayThis router bit worked really well rounding over the edges of my table top made of pine 2x4s. The bearing on the router bit is sturdy and rolls off the edges nicely. The only caveat is that I have yet to test it on harder wood species, so this rating may change later. The reason for the 4 star rating is that the price tag is a bit high as compared to other generic ones. While I understand the cost premium that comes with a brandname product, the cost difference seems to be a bit (pun intended) exorbitant.

> 3 daySolid router bits that make a nice profile with very minimal (if any) burning. Sharp cutting blades, like all of my other freud bits I expect a long service life before needing sharpened or replaced.

Greater than one weekIts hard to tell if the bit is cutting its so smooth. No tear out, very clean surface, minimal effort.

> 3 dayThis bit works OK bu ti could be improved if it had wider wings to give more of a sweep to the round-over. Im using it in a router table and cant seem to get it to cut a full round-over. I either get a partial or get a ridge.

Greater than one weekA lot less reworking required.

Greater than one weekI got this to make 2 inch diameter dowels to make a handrail that matches an existing handrail in my Victorian house. I chose this blade over other (less expensive) blades because it has four cutters and I’m hoping it will last longer. So far I’ve only done a test piece in soft wood, and it worked just fine for that. I can’t comment on longevity just yet, but I am impressed so far.

> 3 dayFreud router bits are excellent and this is no exception. However, their site leaves something to be desired. On Amazon this router bit is shown paired with the 62-102 bearing. Even the Freud site suggests the same. However, the 62-102 bearing has a 1/8 internal diameter, while the bearing shaft on this router bit is 1/4. View the Freud site and confuse yourself to your hearts content, as its not consistent or accurate. The bearing that came with my Quadra-Cut 34-124 is a 19mm (3/4) with 1/4 internal diameter. Perhaps they outsourced the website.

> 3 dayThe Quadra Bit makes all the difference by providing cleaner smoother cuts, Its the only 1/4 inch round over bit that I will use.
