Freud 34-104: 1/8 Radius Rounding Over Bit, EA, Multi

These Freud bit are excellent but very expensive. The give a very smooth cut with little if any additional sanding required. I took square pieces of oak and rounded over one side to make a half circle radius. The two routed seams blended perfectly. I do wish the were cheaper.

These are great bits, I use these from Freud for light duty applications and they hold up great.

Ive never used a round over bit before, in fact this was the third time using my router at all...anyway. This was extremely smooth and easy cutting. The end result didnt even need to be sanded it was so smooth. Awesome product! It was perfect for softening edges for a kids play structure

Perfect little roundover - just keeps working. Consistent, smooth results all the time. Still sharp after hours of hard work.

The physics tell the story here. This bit has 2 extra cutters and because of that there is less load being put on each cutter. If you think about it, it all comes down to speed and feed. If the speed at which the workpiece passes the bit is the same, each cutting tooth sees half the load. Best router bit Ive owned over 25 years of woodworking.
