Freud 34-104: 1/8 Radius Rounding Over Bit, EA, Multi

This bit worked perfect! The edges came out very smooth so I did not have to do a bunch of sand after making the cuts. I have only used a few different Freud bits and each of them work great. They do cost more, but they work really well.

This Freud bit works extremely well. It makes smooth cuts with no sanding required. (I just wish they would add this ti their quadracut line.)

As a complete amateur to using a router, I had a hard time selecting the right bit. There were many cheaper bits, but I wanted something that would last for multiple projects. We used this bit to round over edges on 2x4s and 4x4s (treated yellow). Stayed sharp and true throughout the entire project. Had good weight and was a well built item. Bit did as well at the end of our project as it did the beginning. I debated on whether or not this was the right radius for the 2xs that we were using. I didnt want completely round edges, but I wanted enough so a falling child was less likely to split his head open. It was the right choice and added a good finish to our project.

Very clean cuts while using a trim router. Would buy again.

I gave this router bit 5 stars for value, as it cuts a lot cleaner than other router bits with two blades. The finishing work (sanding, etc.) is minimized, making it a greater overall value.

If you want to retain most of the edge of your boards, then give this 1/16 Freud radius roundover bit a try! I like it, but my wife dislikes sharp edges, so Ill likely use it less than the 1/8 roundover bit, which is my go-to. High quality, works great! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Outstanding 1 round-over bit. The 2 extra cutters make a huge difference compared to the 2 cutter bit Ive been using. Recommended.
