> 3 dayRecieved the first bit, wasnt a quadra cut. Called Amazon the said they were very sorry, and arranged for replacement. Second Bit same as the first. This has happened 3 times, do not believe them when they say it is a Quadra-Cut.

Greater than one weekI have been a woodworking hobbyist for many years. Over the years, I have restored and fabricated many pieces of antique and modern furniture. These days, my wife often asks me to fix one of her friends broken/damaged pieces and a recent repair required me to use a tool I do not own. The Italian made Freud brand 1/8 round-over professional router bit I purchased is one I wanted years ago but could not afford when I was younger. Back in the day, quality carbon-tipped router bits were expensive. Now, years later and retired, I can afford any tool I choose and was pleasantly surprised at the now affordable cost of and the now common availability of carbon-tipped router bits today. This Freud Professional Router Bit is crafted wonderfully well and performs exceptionally well as compared to the many other router bits I have used over the years! A new brand for me ... the Freud brand will be one I will seek out in all of my future tool needs! If you want dependable, well performing router bits, made professionally, look no further! Respectfully and Sincerely, KCL

> 3 dayI used this bit to round over several white oak boards . It cut the edges on 5 rows of decking Boards 26 feet per row of boards , and then developed 2 substantial chips on the blade cutting surface . I thought it was over priced for no longer than it lasted and it failed to stand up to the white oak . To update my review Freud replaced the bit , no cost or hassle so the warranty service was very good .

> 3 dayNice to have a sharp bit that I didnt realize what I was missing by using the old dulled one. Good crisp cuts in a variety of woods most notably hard maple and purple heart. I have a fixed speed router that spins 27,000 so on some of the hard maple passes there is just a bit of burning left behind from the top quad portion of the cutters. Freud bits have been great for me and Ill continue to use them. Good price from Amazon too!

> 3 dayThese Freud bit are excellent but very expensive. The give a very smooth cut with little if any additional sanding required. I took square pieces of oak and rounded over one side to make a half circle radius. The two routed seams blended perfectly. I do wish the were cheaper.
