> 3 dayWell balanced bit. Good, sharp carbide. All Freud bits I own are among the best bits in the shop. This bit will make the radius cuts on head and foot cherry top bed rails. As anyone will tell you, using bits this big requires making more than one pass. Free shipping was pretty fast.

16-11-2024When routing all the boards for my new 16x52 deck, I knew Id need a few bits to do the job.... so I tried most of the readily available ½ radius bits. THIS was by far my favorite. It bites cleanly, powers through board after board, easily surpassing the performance of every other roundover bit I used. My only complaint was that the screw that holds the wheel flew off, and I had to rob a wheel from another bit to finish the job. Not a big deal, but it was annoying. Even with that, this bit was the hands-down favorite of the ½ roundover bits I used. Yeah, more expensive, but well worth it.

> 3 dayI used this to put a slight radius on 6061 Aluminum plate. Works great. I have used this on about 50 linear feet so far and its just as sharp as the day I opened it. I actually got a 3/16 radius bit to redo some of the parts thinking that a router bit and aluminum would be a bad combo. The larger radius bit works just as well. If youre using this on wood, it should last for a very long time.
