Freud bits are the bomb. This roundover is no exception. Works great. A pleasure to cut with it.

This is a very well made bit for really large jobs. This bit should be used in one of the heavy duty routers such as the Milwaukee 3 1/2 hp model. I imagine you could try to free hand with this bit but a table mounted router is easier and safer. My only regret is I didnt get two and the price I paid at the time ($26.08 in 2007!) because I know Im going to wear this one out with a lot of use and I just noticed that the price went way up!

Freud products are always above the standard and this is no different. Highly and durable and just like any of their other blades will out last any one else

Just as advertised. You pay a little more for Freud bits, however they are well worth the price and a good value in the end. Excellent cutting results.

No issues so far. Cuts clean and true. Good amount of time spent on the current one and its still cutting like a hot knife through butter.

This is a rounding bit with a 1/16 radius. With a small radius, you must be sure that your wood is perfectly flat, and the edge is true (straight). Any winding or edge-cupping will result in a poor result. The quality of the bit itself is typical Freud quality -- excellent. The 1/4 shank is fully adequate for this small amount of rounding. The carbide is well sharpened. I got this bit to match some store-bought walnut furniture, and it performed admirably. If I hadnt had to match other pieces, I would have probably used a plane or hand-sanded the radius. Most of my router bits are Freud, and I reach for them over the others whenever possible. All of the Freud bits (most of which are well-priced on Amazon) may be found at freudtools.com.

Quality bit. Cuts beautifully and bearing seems quality.

This Freud bit works extremely well. It makes smooth cuts with no sanding required. (I just wish they would add this ti their quadracut line.)

1/8" Radius Rounding Over Bit with 1/4" Shank

From the Manufacturer

Freud"s precision ground carbide bits have a grain size smaller than other grades, and titanium is added making them impervious to chemical attack. Promoting safer woodworking is the reason Freud made a commitment to develop anti-kickback router bits. Bits are computer balanced to insure vibration-free operation at speeds that are a safe margin above the typical 22,000 RPMs of most routers. Freud"s philosophy is woodworkers should expect safety, not pay for it. Over all diameter 3/4-inch, large radius 1/8-inch, shank diameter 1/4-inch.
