Freud 34-104: 1/8 Radius Rounding Over Bit, EA, Multi

I used it to take off the sharp edges of formica laminate and it worked great. It save me lots of labor doing it by hand.

Sharp, nice cutting bit. Needed the roundover in a 1/4 shank. Have had the same bit in 1/2 shank for many years and it still does a nice job. Expecting the same quality and durability in this one.

I have other quadra-cut bits as well. I especially like them for large cuts. They leave profile very clean, with virtually no tear-out. I typically use these on hard woods like cherry. My router table has a 3 1/4 hp router installed.

I used the Amazon search engine to find a 3/16 Quadra-Cut round over bit. The photos look very similar to the larger radius Quadra-cut round over bits so even though the product description doesnt call this a Quadra-cut, I thought it was. This bit did everything I needed. I was looking for a nice clean cut and this bit does that. The price should have been enough warning that it wasnt Quadra-cut.

Good bit, just not the quadra cut which is pictured and described.

This was a gift for someone else. They really like it, but realized they need more tools than they had to use it.
