> 3 dayThese are high quality bits and last much longer. I have seen other bits in Home Depo, they build quality is not good as these. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayI once read an interesting product blurb on the Freud quadra cutters that explained how half the blades cut up while the other half cut down to improve smoothness. However they do it - it works. If youre wanting to do full-radius bullnose finishing on 2-by stock - heres your product. One pass on each side (its a deep cut - dont go too fast...) and done. Smooth burnished cut that didnt need further sanding for my application. This is an expensive bit. Its worth it.

> 3 dayOutstanding 1 round-over bit. The 2 extra cutters make a huge difference compared to the 2 cutter bit Ive been using. Recommended.

> 3 dayI used it to take off the sharp edges of formica laminate and it worked great. It save me lots of labor doing it by hand.

> 3 dayMy current project is making wooden cabinet pulls which has the softened edge or roundover. I have a set of Ryobi router bits from HomeDepot, and despite sharpening the bit, I was having significant burning and chipout (to be fair, I paid a set of 15 Ryobi bits for ~$70). This Freud Quadra bit is made in Italy, and slightly larger diameter than the equivalent Ryobi bit (note the larger diameter bearing on Freud bit also). The Freud bit does cut with minimal burning on the surface of wood (mahogany and walnut), however, I did manage to cause a similar chipout with the Freud bit. If I need roundover on a few pieces, the Ryobi bit would have been ok, but more than that hand-sanding the tight spots to remove the burning is too time-consuming. Its not clear two extra blades are advantageous for this application though. I hope the bit will stay sharp. Please keep in mind that this review is from a beginner woodworker, YMMV.

> 3 dayAs a complete amateur to using a router, I had a hard time selecting the right bit. There were many cheaper bits, but I wanted something that would last for multiple projects. We used this bit to round over edges on 2x4s and 4x4s (treated yellow). Stayed sharp and true throughout the entire project. Had good weight and was a well built item. Bit did as well at the end of our project as it did the beginning. I debated on whether or not this was the right radius for the 2xs that we were using. I didnt want completely round edges, but I wanted enough so a falling child was less likely to split his head open. It was the right choice and added a good finish to our project.
