> 3 dayInstalled quickly. Whereas I could not lift my trailer gate without help prior to installing, it is literally a one-handed operation. Best purchase I’ve made in a very long time.

> 3 dayI have a 16’ trailer for my UTV. The gate was over 150 lbs. After my back surgery last year I could not lift or let it down alone. Now I can lift or lower the gate with literally 2 fingers. I show it to anyone who has a trailer.. this is a great product. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars on ease of installation is that the design of my trailer rails required me to weld the rearmost part of the lift to the rail because the rail design made it impossible to access the rear bolt hole. Any trailer I have from now on till get a gorilla lift.

> 3 dayI am getting older now and the ramp on my trailer is really getting heavy for me to lift off the ground and with these on I can lift it with one finger --- literally !! These were difficult to install on my trailer because my side rails are made out of pipe, but , if your trailer is made from angle iron it wont take you 45 minutes to install these. Great product

> 3 daySo, my utility trailer has 30 walls, so standard attachment would not work. I had angle iron rails welded 24 to the outside of the bed walls and used it as the attachment points. Mounting the tubes was not a problem, drilling the 1/2 in holes was important for this attachment for movement and clearance. The challenge was installing the pins that ended up against the side of the gate opening, there was not much clearance, but after many attempts was able to make it work. Standard cotter pins would have worked better for this app. SPRINGS , this was the most aggravating part of the install. Testing the spring strength vs the ramp gate was bs. trying to stretch the small spring while inside the large caused the spring to bind and not reflect the true spring rate. Then once a spring was cut, its worthless (cant undo a cut spring). It seems that it the springs were separated, not fixed to the cable, fine tuning what rate is needed for the ramp weight would work better. My app ended up with two small springs, does not hold the gate but takes some effort to lower and raise the ramp. Much better than before. However, a combo of one small one large may have worked better. Only other grip is, the manufacture suggests applying a sealant as the join of the two tubes, but end caps are not provided for the leading end of the tubes and the roller end is open. Makes perfect sense. would absolutely recommend!

Greater than one weekVery easy to install and use. Im 66 so it was getting pretty hard for me to raise and lower my trailers talegate. After I installed it I can let it down or rise it up with just my finger !

> 3 dayI have trouble with lift springs being too strong to allow tailgate to drop down. I have extra heavy tailgate but springs keep it from dropping down past half way. Have to push completely to ground.

> 3 dayThe parts are top quality and the fit and finish are great! I found that I had to make some modifications to my trailer before installation that werent expected and that I only needed one lift. Installing two wasnt necessary but it wasnt covered in the instructions. I realize that they cant cover every situation but placement on the rail is critical and MUST be followed. Now that it is all installed and modified, it works like a charm! One finger moves the ramp up or down and it is literally effortless. Great product!
