> 3 dayFairly easy to install. Springs were much stronger than I thought they would be. I was worried our ramp would be a little to heavy, but it was plenty. We even had to tone it down to just 1 spring, because it was actually too much tension.

> 3 dayInstall is easy, watch YouTube video to answer any questions not understood in the instructions. Wish I had made this purchase years ago!

> 3 dayAs a woman using a trailer to haul a lawn mower around, I was struggling to lift the heavy endgate. My husband found these online and ordered them and I am absolutely loving them. They take all the work out of raising and lowering the endgate on the trailer I use. I am very happy with this product.

> 3 dayI am getting older now and the ramp on my trailer is really getting heavy for me to lift off the ground and with these on I can lift it with one finger --- literally !! These were difficult to install on my trailer because my side rails are made out of pipe, but , if your trailer is made from angle iron it wont take you 45 minutes to install these. Great product

> 3 dayWhen using the S hooks to find proper location for attaching the cables on tailgate, a lot of the cable coating was worn away; no big deal though. The springs kept pulling the tailgate up out of its location; I installed a stop above the shafts that attach the tailgate to the trailer frame; this corrected this problem. I know that all utility trailers are not the same; you may need to make slight modifications to accomadate your particular trailer. The lift system was fairly easy to install. This Gorilla Lift sure helped my back; I wasnt able to lift the tailgate without help. I can lift the tailgate now with little to no effort.

> 3 dayThis was fairly easy to install with the right tools. Watch the YouTube video we found which had clear instructions (not a Gorilla lift company video). Only issue is that 2 bolts are in wheel well and one is in an rail support so we needed a 13mm deep socket. My trailer is 5x8 with a 4foot gate and only one is needed. Prior to this lift, I had to be careful of my back. Now I can almost lift this gate with what I call dishwasher foot lift. I can lift it with one hand, in stead of lifting and resting the gate on my hip and the bench pressing it the rest of the way. Now it is so easy, I have to make sure it doesnt get away from me and go too far forward which is not really an issue.
