Genuine GORILLA-LIFT 2-Sided Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist

When using the S hooks to find proper location for attaching the cables on tailgate, a lot of the cable coating was worn away; no big deal though. The springs kept pulling the tailgate up out of its location; I installed a stop above the shafts that attach the tailgate to the trailer frame; this corrected this problem. I know that all utility trailers are not the same; you may need to make slight modifications to accomadate your particular trailer. The lift system was fairly easy to install. This Gorilla Lift sure helped my back; I wasnt able to lift the tailgate without help. I can lift the tailgate now with little to no effort.

Awesome Product...Have been using it for for months everyday....Only issue I had was the Quality of the Carriage Bolts....The Strip Very Easily...Do Not over torque/tighten...Or Replace them with better quality like I did.

The parts are top quality and the fit and finish are great! I found that I had to make some modifications to my trailer before installation that werent expected and that I only needed one lift. Installing two wasnt necessary but it wasnt covered in the instructions. I realize that they cant cover every situation but placement on the rail is critical and MUST be followed. Now that it is all installed and modified, it works like a charm! One finger moves the ramp up or down and it is literally effortless. Great product!

We have 2 gates that come down on our trailer. We initially bought a set for our rear gate, which is the larger one....after seeing how easy it is to lower the gate we were on a hunt for a single one, but Amazon didnt carry it. Was able to buy one from the manufacturer....these are AMAZING!!!

I got this for my dad for Father’s Day because he runs a lawn care business. He’s getting older and was having issues with the gait throwing his back out constantly. This thing seriously changed his life. He can not rave higher about it. I’d recommend to anyone who asked!

Everything is so easy, only took a few hours to install.

Hardware is universal. Bolts and fasteners were extremely long. Used my own bolts.

Easy to install. Makes a heavy gate ready to lift..

Best purchase Ive ever made for my husband, he can lift the double gate with just two fingers. Most every time he takes brush to the recycle he gets comments on it, once someone tries it, they want one. :-)
