> 3 dayI installed one side and it worked great on my aluminum bifold lift gate. I decided to put the other side on and I needed to disconnect the inner spring and it works perfect and looks great. I would highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI have a 16’ trailer for my UTV. The gate was over 150 lbs. After my back surgery last year I could not lift or let it down alone. Now I can lift or lower the gate with literally 2 fingers. I show it to anyone who has a trailer.. this is a great product. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars on ease of installation is that the design of my trailer rails required me to weld the rearmost part of the lift to the rail because the rail design made it impossible to access the rear bolt hole. Any trailer I have from now on till get a gorilla lift.

> 3 dayEasy to install-I pulled up a U Tube video that showed how to go about it-just like the written instructions ! I ended up using only on of the 2 lifts in the kit-----I have a 5 x 10 trailer---and a single works perfectly! I mounted it on the passenger side because I have my spare tire mounted on the driver side and would have had to reposition it to accommodate the 2nd lift. I gave a friend of mine the passenger side lift-he tossed me back half of what I paid ! I used it extensively from Wednesday thru Saturday and it never failed-Would though like for it to have a plastic cap over the front end of the lift to keep dirt and debris out-this being open could become an issue down the road-I haul my ATV on this trailer and am on a lot of dirt and mud roads.....

> 3 dayI like how it works, but it could use a few changes. Every trailer has supports in different spots, but the holes in the lift assist are always in the same spots. My last carriage bolt landed inside a V, L-angle upright under the railing. It was near impossible to get the bolt in the V and get the washer and nut on. I almost drilled another hole 3 inches forward, then cutting the bolt to fit inside square tube and use a magnet or stiff wire to set the bolt into the new hole. Luckily I didnt need to do that. My other alternative was to drill a hole through the top and install the bolt that way, and cover the hole with a rubber plug. I didnt want to weld it in case it didnt work. Looking at the photo I have 5.5 inches from the rail to the ramp and I wasnt sure it would work, I worried about the spring hitting the rollers, since it had to pull out 5.5 inches. It works great. When I clipped the hooks on the ramp it worked perfect. It stayed straight out just like the directions said. I used a 3/16 cobalt drill bit and a cheap 1/2 step drill from Harbor Freight and it went through the metal like butter. Im going to weld two handles on the ramp so I can use my toe to lift the ramp so I wont need to bend over. I would definitely by again.
