Genuine GORILLA-LIFT 2-Sided Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist

This thing does what it promised! Saves your back!!!!!

I have trouble with lift springs being too strong to allow tailgate to drop down. I have extra heavy tailgate but springs keep it from dropping down past half way. Have to push completely to ground.

it went well, I cost me some time by not looking at things carefully before starting. I did have to add another hole in their product as my trailer had a section of box tubing running vertically at the end (where they had a bolt going)

I purchased last year and installed a month ago. Springs on right side pulled through and cable on left side broke.
