> 24 hourThis product lets me use my Kindle Touch in bed without waking up my wife by turning on a lamp. For that reason alone, I can give it five stars and say that its easily worth the $20 I spent. Functionality: It does cast a lot of light to the sides but the low setting is just enough light to adequately light the page. There is a bit of a fade toward the bottom of the page, but when the batteries are well-charged, the bottom of the page is still quite readable. Longevity: Battery life is pretty good; I had the Kandle II in fairly constant use for about two months before I had to replace the batteries, and as a bonus, they do include a second set with the product. It uses two CR2032 watch batteries, which are available as of this writing on Amazon for about a dollar each. If I could improve one thing about the Kandle, it would be to include a low battery light to indicate when to replace the batteries. As the batteries start to die, the light fades slowly and eventually gets too dim to use. Aesthetics: It looks like part of the Kindle. Im not super concerned personally with style, but at least with the Kindle Touch it fits right in with the product. Its also light enough that I generally just keep it on the Kindle 24/7, even if I dont need the light at the time. Overall: A great little product that gives you the ability to read in the dark without having to shell out for the Paperwhite. Recommended.

> 24 hourIve had this for a couple of weeks and could not be happier with it. The light works great, and if anything is too bright on the highest setting for me. The coverage is uniform across the width of my Kindle and does not fall off very much at the bottom of the screen. The quality of the construction and even the feel of the plastic is top notch. I especially appreciate the supplied carry bag. If I could make a couple of changes I would do the following: 1. Try to lower the weight, as it does make the my Kindle a little top heavy. 2. Have a better method to open the battery cover than depending on the user to keep up with the supplied screwdriver. 3. Have one setting for a little dimmer output, maybe only light the two outer LEDs and not all three. Overall, this light is much better than I expected and I would highly recommend it if you are going back and forth between it and the other light options out there.

> 24 hourI scoured Amazon and the other reviews for a Kindle light, and was excited to discover something perfectly matched for my Kindle! I wanted something small and bright, so I could read in bed without disturbing the spouse. Some of the reviews mention that it is too dim for night reading, but this looked to perfect so I ordered it anyway. Upon receiving my Kandle II, I was impressed by the quality of the design and feel. It complements the Kindle perfectly. However, that night, when I turned it on, it shined brightly for 2 minutes and then faded away to an unreadable dim level. I tried for 2 weeks to make it work (even replacing the batteries), but no success. My Kandle would start out bright and fade out in a matter of minutes. Flustered, I emailed their customer support, and was pleasantly surprised to have someone reply back to me within an hour! I explained the problem to Bryan from Ozeri, and he mailed me a replacement Kandle a day later, no questions asked! The replacement unit is amazingly bright, and illuminates the entire Kindle screen for hours on end. This little light, while expensive, totally rocks! If yours has a problem, email Ozeri and they will take care of it!

> 24 hourThis is the perfect companion for the graphite Kindle! They look like they were made for each other. No more of the goose neck light falling off or having to reposition every time I move.It does get a little darker towards the bottom of the page but not enough to affect my reading. I am not having trouble turning it on when I close it. Perhaps I close it differently than others. I was a little apprehensive about spending so much on a light. I have had a Kindle for a few years and just fought with other types of lights. I bought the Kindle 3 and found all the lights I already had way too big for it so I caved. I am so happy I did...should have done it a long time ago. Very high quality and well worth the money.

> 24 hourI purchased this reading light for several reasons all of which were fulfilled by the Kandle. First, I wanted something on the smaller size that would not be hard to travel with or store away. I also wanted a product that did not have a long neck that I would have to constantly adjust. Both of these were accomplished... The Kandle came with a second set of batteries which is a nice bonus, the price was right and the light PERFECTLY illuminates the page or screen that you are reading from. In addition to the lighting itself, this devise is almost weightless which is a huge plus that I didnt even consider when purchasing a light... Buy it now, your night time/low light reading can finally start off the right way....

> 24 hourBecause of all the issues I have read about and heard about with the lighted Kindle covers I refused to buy one. However most of my reading is done at night so I needed a light. I bought several different lights in the three weeks I have owned my Kindle and none of them worked the way I wanted. They didnt light the whole page, they had a horrible glare, they got in the way of my reading, they burned out quickly and so on. The Kandle on the other hand is PERFECT!!!! I can angle the light, it clips on without being in the way, there is no horrible glare, and best of all the light stays on the Kindle and not all over the room so I can read in bed and not disturb my husband. It also works great on regular books as my husband was using it the other day while reading. He also found that it is the perfect light to use in dark places with instruction manuals. I love the Kandle as it fits perfectly inside my neoprene cases zipper pocket when I do not need it. Plus the fact that for the price it also comes with batteries, an extra set of batteries and a screw driver for the battery compartment. Plus to order replacement batteries is only $5 for 25 batteries...that is a steal compared to the other lights I have purchased. I have used this light for a total of 49.5 hours so far and it is still just as bright as the day it arrived. Another benefit is that there are two light settings..bright and brighter so I can adjust it to fit my needs and neither one produces a glare. This light makes my Kindle experience even better!

> 24 hourI personally own both the original Kandle (in black), and now the graphite Kandle 2! I have used them for my Kindle 3. First of all, the only issue I had with the original Kandle was the brightness. It just wasnt QUITE bright enough at the bottom for my tastes. I saw the Kandle 2, and I figured it would be perfect. I was not let down. Differences: 1. Original Kandle has only one setting. Its on or its off. Kandle 2 has 2 brightness options. 2. Original Kandle has only two lights on each end of the unit. The Kandle 2 has three (one added in the middle). I have tested these side by side, and the actual difference in brightness is around 30% more for the first setting, 50% more for second setting. This equates to (for me) an absolute PERFECT illumination for the entire Kindle page. Bravo, Ozeri. 3. Instead of a switch type power button that you must almost use your fingernail to push over to one side, the new Kandle has a simple large button on the top. Push it once for low setting, again for high setting, again for off. 4. The feel of the plastic is almost velvety. The original Kandle is simply hard black shiny plastic. the graphite color is more matte. I noticed the softness immediately when I took it out of the package. Maybe Im just a nerd, but it makes me love it even more. Also, the color is almost identical to the graphite color of the Kindle. Thats a plus for fashionistas like myself (har har). And there you have it! I absolutely love mine and will likely be purchasing another for my boyfriend and his original Kindle 1! You will not regret this purchase =)

> 24 hourI looked around and tried several lights for my new ST Nook before finding the Kandle II. This was the best one I have tried for it. It compliments the small and light weight scale of the Nook and stays on great. The illumination does fade out a little towards the bottom of the screen but not enough to give it much points off. I rated all the attributes as 5 except for the brightness, which I gave a 4. As much as I like the Mighty Bright Ultraflex 2 light I have, and used with the Nook 3G, it is too awkward to use with the ST Nook. This Kandle II fits the bill. I recommend it!

> 24 hourThe single clip on light that I had been using wasnt a good fit. The Kandle is well rated and has more bulbs and the clip area is larger. Everything is fine with the Kandle light with one exception, I have a cover for my Kindle and the cover and Kindle combination is a little thick for the Kandle. It works, but squeezing the attachment open and getting a solid fit barely makes it.
