> 3 dayI use my Kindle a lot so when I wanted a light, I wanted one that would light the whole page, clip on easily and stay put when adjusted. So far, the Kandle II has met all my expectations. Not sure about the battery life. Ive only used it a few times but seems to be ok. I love the fact that it has 3 led lights and is wide enough to cover the whole page. It has 2 adjustments and 2 light settings which is nice for different seating positions. My only con is that it covers the on/off button on the top(I have a Kindle II), so I have to unclip it to do so, which means I forget to turn it off. But thats more of a me problem so I still love this light!

> 3 dayThe Kandle II works wonderfully with my Kindle touch and is just what I was looking for. Please note that reviews stating that the light remains on when the unit is closed are NOT accurate for the Kandle II. Perhaps that is true with the Kandle, however the Kandle II very definitely shuts off when it is closed. In fact, the next time it is opened, the on/off switch must be re-activated for the light to come on. I love the fact that I can clip this light to any edge of my Kindle. This is particularly useful when I read in bed on my side. I would recommend this product to anyone.

> 3 dayIf a gift from a couple of years ago, it was well received! No complaints!

> 3 dayI just received my Kandle II in the mail today and I am in love with it! Most importantly for me, Kandle II is very lightweight. It does make the Kindle a little top heavy but it still feels comfortable to hold in one hand. Another nice thing about Kandle II is that it doesnt jostle easily or shift positions. You can change the position of the Kindle without worrying about the light falling off or the light beam needing to be heavily adjusted. As for the light itself, it is bright and well placed. I was able to effortlessly read the entire screen on the lower light setting. Also, I am in love with the triple overhead light system of the Kandle II as opposed to many other clip on lights with an angled one-directional spotlight. Overall I am very pleased with the Kandle II and would recommend it to any Kindle user looking for a lighting solution.

> 3 dayI really cant add anymore to the positive reviews already left. I have 2 of these now, one I use on a MacBook (I dont have the Pro version with backlit keys), the other for my Kindle Keyboard. Lighting is sufficient, the only issues I have (and this is not a complaint, its just inherent in this type of lighting) is that at half-battery power the bottom of my Kindle screen could use a bit more light for my tastes. Ozeri emailed me and thanked me for the purchase and offered to send me 2 more batteries for the booklight. Ive had the lights for about a year now and occasionally the light does not automatically go off when the booklight is closed (the other minor issue). Overall happy with the light and its firm but padded grip.

Greater than one weekI bought this to use with my 2nd generation Kindle. I think it is a lot nicer than those goose neck reading lights. The Kandle snaps securely on the device and doesnt seem invasive like the other light I have. I know that sounds odd, but Im sure theres someone who knows what Im talking about :-) The Kandle conforms to the shape of the Kindle, its relatively flat, the adjustable lamp stays in place and shines down the page. It isnt as bright towards the bottom, but thats to be expected. The Kandle burns through batteries so pick up a package of batteries if you get this.

> 3 dayI received the Kandle as a Christmas gift to replace my other book light. I was using a mighty bright with a flexible neck but I found it was so top heavy it kept falling off my Kindle if moved even slightly. This product has been great. It stays where you put it, it has two brightness settings and can be angled a couple different ways. The Kandle is nice and small and it still lights up the entire screen. The only downside is that the product clip is a little too deep. When pushed all the way onto the Kindle it comes down over the screen. I use the Kindle Touch and I can still see the top line of text but Im not sure if this would be an issue on any other device. Over all I love this product and definitely recommend it!

18-11-2024I am an old-old guy who reads constantly in a variety of situations throughout the day and evening: in snack bars, waiting rooms, fast-food joints, coffee shops, book stores, library lounges, and other such venues, where lighting varies and cannot be counted on to be bright enough for easy reading. Moreover, at one time or another I use all of the major-brand e-readers. As a result, I need a primary or auxiliary light that is small enough to be carried conveniently in a shirt pocket; that fastens securely to all my readers in either portrait or landscape position; that is stable once attached; that spreads light fairly evenly over a six inch page; that is bright; that is powered by small, easily available batteries; that is priced competitively; that is backed by a reputable company dedicated to customer service. After trying many brands of clip-on lights, in several styles, I found that on balance, the Ozeri II reading light meets my specific needs, not only best, but well enough to warrant five stars.

Greater than one weekI love reading in bed before I go to sleep, however, I married a great guy who is disturbed by the lamp light being on. This little light doesnt disturb his sleep, and I can read to my hearts content. I like the fact that it turns off when closed and has two brightness settings. Although it is basically low profile it still has to be clipped to the outside cover or removed to store the reader when not in use. Not a big deal, it is still a great addition to my Kindle Reader.

> 3 dayAfter trying a competitive product three, yes, three times I moved to the Kandle product and am a big fan. The product is sturdy and easy to use, plus I like that it has two settings - bright and brighter. An additional perk, it is comes with two sets of batteries - nice and considerate. On the side, I have a four year old and it is nice to have a light that is durable.
