> 3 dayReceived the Kandle II today, and Im really impressed! My Kindle Touch was a gift for Christmas last year, and Ive been searching for a light ever since (I have a drawerful of various designs to prove it!). I havent been happy with any of them, and was seriously considering upgrading to the Paper White. Came across this little gem quite by accident and was immediately interested. It was small, no flimsy arm to get in the way or adjust, just clean lines and, I hoped, a good light without glare that would reach to the bottom of the screen. Then I started reading the reviews. I always read beginning with the newest, and Im glad I did. Apparently, when this light was first offered (I read reviews back to 2011), it had several problems, and there were many complaints. However, the reviews from early 2012 were all very favorable. Apparently this company was actually reading these negative reviews and acted on them to improve their product. The light gives a good even light all the way to the bottom of the screen, there is no glare whatsoever, and it clips nicely to the Kindle (with a Kindle cover). I cant speak to battery life, Ive only had it one day; however, this light is so amazing Im not really conerned about it, Ill just make sure I always have batteries on hand. Bottom line, Ill be keeping my Touch for a good long time because of this light. I highly recommend it to all Kindle owners.

> 3 dayThe light is very easy to attach to my kindle touch. The padding on the clip itself is great so there no chance of scratching or damaging the kindle. The light gives all enough light and even better you got two options on brightness. Another great thing I like about it is that it came with a battery in the light itself and also had two additional batteries for future use. Most time your lucky to get a battery with things these days. The light is small and dont get in way of reading. it has its own velvet carrying bag with straps while not in use. Overall the light is great. no uses that i can tell of yet.

> 3 dayI got this for my husband as a small Valentines gift, because his very favorite past-time is reading on his Kindle Touch. Unfortunately, the one we initially received only worked intermittently, so had to be returned, but was replaced with one that works great. My husband is very pleased with the light. The beam has two settings, and covers the full width of his Kindle, as well as the full length. Its a very even light, not hot in some spots and cool in others, but consistent across the screen of the Kindle, only getting just a little lighter at the very bottom, but still quite readable even then. No more eye strain, and he can now read anywhere under pretty much any circumstances.

> 3 daythe brightness is crap! even on high. low setting is useless. too dim to read in the dark using just this light. i love the design - especially that it folds flush for travel and the graphite is a perfect match for my kindle 3 but it eats through the CR2032 (button cell) batteries and you need a mini screwdriver (supplied) to open up the battery door. very disappointed. perhaps if you dont like/need a lot of light to read by - because plenty of reviewers rave about this product - then try. but i dont like to have to strain my eyes. will have to try another type, perhaps the M edge light that uses AAA batteries (which are more easily available when travelling).

> 3 dayI received the Ozeri II Reading Light just a few days after ordering it. Surprized me I assure you. I carry my Kindle in my handbag and this unit comes with its own carry pouch which is great. The pouch is thin and so doesnt add excessive bulk to store in in my handbag. I light is bright but not anoyingly so. Oh, I forgot to mention it has two strenghts!! I am a home healthcare nurse, work overnight, and stay in my patients bedroom overnight so excess light is a problem to solve. With the Ozeri II Reading Light the problem is solved. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful product. So easy to use and appears to be solid in construction. If you are thinking about purchasing one of these - dont hesitate - its great.

> 3 dayI enjoy having the light for the Kindle. Im spoiled with my other reader which has a back-light. This Kindle was a win from a website so I didnt get a chance to pick the one I wanted. However, the only complaints I have are these: (1) It is a bit hard to keep settled on my Kindle, and (2) the batteries burn out very quickly. I read more than most people--sometimes all night long. That means my batteries run out much to quickly. It seems the batteries fade quickly. I handled this by ordering a bunch of batteries (25) but it takes 2 to power the light. Otherwise, its so great to be able to read in the dark!

> 3 dayThe Kandle II works wonderfully with my Kindle touch and is just what I was looking for. Please note that reviews stating that the light remains on when the unit is closed are NOT accurate for the Kandle II. Perhaps that is true with the Kandle, however the Kandle II very definitely shuts off when it is closed. In fact, the next time it is opened, the on/off switch must be re-activated for the light to come on. I love the fact that I can clip this light to any edge of my Kindle. This is particularly useful when I read in bed on my side. I would recommend this product to anyone.

> 3 dayI bought this to use with my 2nd generation Kindle. I think it is a lot nicer than those goose neck reading lights. The Kandle snaps securely on the device and doesnt seem invasive like the other light I have. I know that sounds odd, but Im sure theres someone who knows what Im talking about :-) The Kandle conforms to the shape of the Kindle, its relatively flat, the adjustable lamp stays in place and shines down the page. It isnt as bright towards the bottom, but thats to be expected. The Kandle burns through batteries so pick up a package of batteries if you get this.

> 3 dayAt $20, the Kandle is probably the best reading light I have used. The three bulbs give even illumination across the screen and from top to bottom. The clip-on design is wide and provides a stable fit across the top of my Kindle. The gray color closely matches that of the Kindle. The design is very ergonomic and compliments the Kindle well. I have used various lighting solutions for my Kindle e-reader and found that the Kandle works best for me. Other worm lights and even the Kindle lighted cover do not illuminate as evenly as the Kandle. Pros: Easy use, even illumination, nice design, and long battery life. Cons: Doesnt use the Kindles battery but this is a fair trade-off.

> 3 dayI just got this to replace another Kindle light that wouldnt hold a charge. Its just about perfect when it comes to brightness, even lighting and weight. The only problem I have with it is that it moves on the Kindle. The clip is designed so that it cant be pushed fully down tight to the clip, or it covers the top of your Kindle. This means that it can move fairly easily. Ive got it stable enough that Im comfortable moving it, but it does interrupt occasionally for readjustment.
