> 3 dayHi, I took a time to review several Kindle lights and general reading lights to try to make the best decision. My expectation is a good light that is small and portable, that the light cover all the kindles screen and doesnt be annoying, that it doesnt bothers my wife while she sleeps and I read (I dont want a light that illuminates my complete room, and to be a good quality and that doesnt costs half the price of the kindle. Kandle II filled my expectations, here is what I can point out: - Light has two intensities, which is great, some people may prefer more light or in some environments you may require it, or just your eyes. - I can easily clip it without removing or damaging my leather cover, also, has something in the clip to protect the kindle from getting scratch (pretty important) - You can set the position and direction of the light, which will allow you to point the light as you like it. - It doesnt illuminates all the place, it helps that you can choose how to position the light. - Is small and brings its own little bag to carry on. - The style is nice and is pretty similar to the gray Kindle, which is nice. - Comes with extra two batteries and a small screwdriver to replace them, that is nice as they dont assume you have one. - And the price is I think, just perfect. Im really happy with those $25 bucks I invested, I would recommend it.

> 3 dayThe Kandle II works wonderfully with my Kindle touch and is just what I was looking for. Please note that reviews stating that the light remains on when the unit is closed are NOT accurate for the Kandle II. Perhaps that is true with the Kandle, however the Kandle II very definitely shuts off when it is closed. In fact, the next time it is opened, the on/off switch must be re-activated for the light to come on. I love the fact that I can clip this light to any edge of my Kindle. This is particularly useful when I read in bed on my side. I would recommend this product to anyone.

> 3 dayJust recieved my kandle ozeri II for my latest kindle. Love the design, specially the wide spread area. I love the two light settings and the light angle can also be changed. Way better than any other competing product on the market as of now. It is light enough not to tip the kindle over when holding it with one hand, which is what I do. Pros: Light, excellent ergonomics, great lighting options. Cons (if at all): if I push it all the way in the top part of kindle then I notice that it can encroach slightly on the very top line. Although, one does not need to push it all the way. It still holds very well.

> 3 dayI was very hesitant on buying a little light for the price, but am very satisfied. It is very lightweight and I like that it doesnt weigh my Kindle down when firmly attached. The different light settings are great!! The low setting is very useful for cloudy days and the highest setting works great while reading in bed. It comes with a nice little pouch to hold the Kandle when not in use and still has room for extra batteries and the little screwdriver. The only downfall is the positioning of the on/off switch as it is a little difficult to turn on when attached to the Kindle. I would recommend this light to anybody looking for a nice, high quality light.

> 3 dayNice book light. It puts out plenty of light for reading, I think both the semi-bright and full bright work well in poorly lit reading areas. The only complaint I have is that the reading light is a little loose on my Kindle. While adjusting the light if its not held firmly, the whole thing kind of moves around but once youve got everything the way you want it, it stays put.

> 3 dayI bought this for the Kindle DX I bought due to my fear that Amazon will never produce a Paperwhite version of it. This light is nice in that it is small and compact. I have a Mighty Bright light, but it takes up more room in my briefcase due to its flexible stalk for the light. However, the Kandle is not quite bright enough for the Kindle DX. Its adequate, though, so I am sticking with it because it is compact.

19-11-2024Im really happy with my Kandle. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and the power of the light system. It lights up the screen of the Kindle perfectly and enables me to read anywhere with all the light that I need. Havent used it long enough to know how long the battery life is, but so far so good. The only complaints that I have are the price, I do feel that it is a bit overpriced, and Im also not sure how sturdy it is, it doesnt appear to be very sturdy, it could me made out of a tougher material especially for the price that it is. I was very happy with the delivery, I received it the day after I odered it. Iwas only expecting a 2 day delivery and got it sooner thatn that, was also well packaged.

> 3 dayI just got my Kandle to go with my Kindle 3. And for the most part, I think it is just great. - I love how perfectly it matches my graphite Kindle. How wonderful to have an accessory that looks like an accessory, not an afterthought. - I am pleased at how lightweight it is. It adds very little weight to the Kindle and that becomes important on those just one more page reading marathons - For me, the brighter the better. I personally have low vision issues, and to combine the very brightest setting on the Kandle with flexible font size on the Kindle means I can read with ease on all but my worst days. - I have tried other reading lights, although not ones marketed specifically for the Kindle and have been less than satisfied - they were too big, too heavy, too inflexible, just too bad. The Kandle seems just right, the right weight, the right color, the right size etc. - I was especially pleased to find replacement batteries and its own little screwdriver! keeping all this together in the little bag means I will not need to search the house over for an appropriate screwdriver to use! The only thing so far that I wish were a bit different is that when it is clipped onto my Kindle, and pushed down securely, it does obstruct the top line of text a bit, so I find myself gingerly clipping it on and gently sliding it up enough to see all the text on the screen without knocking the Kandle off completely. In glancing through some of the other users reviews, I do not think I am alone in this. This little light is going to make reading when traveling much easier no matter the lighting (or lack therefor) in hotel rooms, campgrounds and so forth.

> 3 dayI was really surprised after receiving the Kandle II on their attention to quality and detail. The packaging was really well done. They provide a little tool, an extra set of batteries, and a nice carrying case for the device. I was concerned when I saw it online that any light attached to my Kindle would cause a significant weight burden and make holding my device less comfortable. I dont know what materials this Kandle is made out of, but it is LIGHT. I have no issues attaching it and reading on my Kindle. The other thing is that it provides nice little felt like protection on the grip so there are no scratches onto the Kindle. The 2 light settings are interesting. I read with either one depending on my eyes sensitivity to light. There is a light drop off which is to be expected, but I am able to read perfectly fine. I really like the device and strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to read when its dark. Also the graphite color matches my Kindle.

> 3 dayAs others have noted, the color and texture of this device are nearly perfect matches for the Kindle 3. Compared to other devices Ive examined, though not used, the weight, light distribution and overall functionality of this unit cannot be beat. My only knock on this unit pertains to the clip. I use my Kindle without a case and while the clip is perfectly functional and secures effectively to the top of the Kindle itself (one of the initial selling points of this lamp), I wish the back of the clip was a bit longer or the spring a bit more resistant just so I wouldnt feel that the light may slip off the top. I anticipate battery life to be excellent due to the use of LEDs which emit a comfortable bluish glow. Two sets of button type batteries are included - one installed and one to keep with an included storage pouch and small screwdriver for when that day eventually comes.
