Great tool to have, great price. I am totally satisfied.

It works good. Fluke is better at precise pinpointing. I had the power turned on once well my tracer was hooked up, ever since it doesn’t work, exactly right. It will pick up other wires that have power on them. Other than that it’s OK.

EASY-TO-USE.

I was worried after I saw a negative youtube review, but Im super glad I ordered this anyway. It totally saved my bacon. You can actually vaguely hear the pulsing when trying to trace a wire through sheetrock if youre close, so its super powerful. And you can hear it VERY clearly at the breaker panel without even taking the cover off. Just rub it across all the breakers and itll start screaming at the breaker the wire goes back to. Thats how I just used it and it saved me so much time. I cant wait to trace more wires!

I liked it was able to tone cables no problems at all

The speaker is very loud. The probe will pick up tone from a couple of feet away then be blaring when you touch the copper of the cable. It will pick up some cross talk so make sure youre hitting the copper. Ive use it daily on both shielded and unshielded with no issues. Works with previous models and other tone gerators. If you need a new tip its less than $10 on home depots website. Replacement Tip for Probe-Pro Tracing Probe Model #VDV999-068. My only wish is that the probe had a lock button or a push for tone button rather than always on.

Very happy with this toner set. Like how it has several different tones, allowing for extra toners to be used to search out multiple lines at once.

This product was fantastic. It helped me locate an un known circuit from my service panel. Was easy to work with and made my repair so much easier.
