KT Tape, Pro Synthetic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 20 Count, 10” Precut Strips

I’m not entirely sure how I functioned without KT tape before. This is a wonderful alternative to bulky braces. If you have any adhesive allergy, like me, I highly recommend starting with skin prep, then laying cover roll over the adhesion area, finishing with KT tape. I’m a big believer in preventative practices but when you have an acute injury, this stuff is miraculous. Their website has a thorough list of videos for various tapings that you can adjust for your needs.

When I got shin splints a few years ago I tried every product that money could buy. After spending well over $100 and getting no relief, I figured Id give KT tape a shot as a last resort, because what could some adhesive fabric tape possibly do to relieve my pain. My God was I impressed, and back up and running a few days later. This stuff really is magic. Ive recommended and given samples out to people over the years who have had variety of different pains and almost all of them have also come to swear by it. Supposedly the magic is that it help with circulation, but however it works, it DOES WORK. They have a great collection of youtube videos for how to do different applications depending on where your pain is. WHY NOT 5 STARS? -- because Ive found that there are other brands that work just as well for a fraction of the price. I thought that the cotton fabric of the other brands (compared to the synthetic fabric of the Pro KT tape) wouldnt adhere or hold up as well, since the cotton regular KT Tape certainly does not, but I was wrong. I think it all comes down to the adhesive. Still a wonderful product, and Ill still buy it, but when I need a bunch Ill go off brand.

Product sticks well to skin if applied with appropriate pressure. Easy to use. Directions are in the box or can be found on YouTube.

I twisted my knee and wanted something light and flexible to give me better stability when exercising and walking. This was a great buy. I would recommend this product. It helped with swelling. I was able to shower and go about my day with ease and greater comfort. The tape stayed in place and was easy to remove — just follow the directions to avoid any skin damage from the adhesive when removing.

Pre-cut strips eliminate trimming. Thicker fabric provides better support and lasts 3-4 days (just dry it well after showers). The included instructions are easy to understand, even for a newbie but consult a pro for your specific injury to make sure you are taping correctly (i.e., you put no stretch on the last 2-3” on each end, and mild to moderate stretch across the ares that need support. Again, the included instructions are great, but there are a number of YouTube videos on the topic as well. I have some Meniscus and MCL pain (64 yrs old) when I go cycling or walking, especially longer distances. Without the KT, the ache gets to 6-7 on the pain scale. With the KT, it’s closer to 2-3. I can’t comfortably wear a full knee brace while cycling, but the KT gives me great breathable support (I cycled 64 miles on my 64th birthday with only mild soreness the next day). Try this! It has been a fantastic find for me.

Ease of putting it on. Great instructions and display. 100% true about reducing swelling and pain. I got this for my knee and was able to keep Irvin for a couple of days even after showering did not come off. Easy to get off, I did not use anything to remove vitamins. Highly recommend this product if you have knee problems

I have chronic shoulder bursitis, and I refuse to stop living an active life. KT tape allows me to stay active without the shoulder pain.

I tried the KT Tape a while back for minor issues and really couldnt tell the difference. I threw my back out a month ago, babied it, forgot I had the KT Tape. Back got better very slowly, then finally was all better...until I tried to drag a 50 pound mat. Oops. Back went out and I was back to square one, which meant I could barely walk and sitting and laying down werent too comfy either. I remembered the KT Tape this time, put it on the wrong way, and it still made an instant difference in the pain. I didnt expect it to work as I was walking out of the bathroom right after applying it! Im still using a heating pad and a little ice, but hoping I dont have a 4 week recovery period again, and that I can sit at my desk and work. Thank you KT Tape!

In terms of relief and support, the results were as flat as a deflated football. The tape did little to alleviate my discomfort or enhance my performance, making me question the steep price tag. To sum up, the KT Tape was a disappointing investment - it was more of a false start than a victory lap in my athletic journey.
