Greater than one weekThis is the first time Ive ever used this product, and I wont be using it again...well at least not this brand. It claims to stay on for 24 hrs and that it is sweat proof and I call B.S. on both claims. The first day I used it, I taped for peroneal tendinitis, tarsal syndrome, and Achilles tendinitis and within an 4 hours it was already lifting and rolling. My skin was clean, dry and I was not doing anything other then walking around the house. The second time I taped for same issues after I got out of shower was dressed and dried and I immediately laid down for a nap and again when I woke the tape had lifted and rolled up in several places. I was really excited to try this product as I had seen it used and it has been recommended by several people I know that are extreme sport athletes. While on it truly does provide the support to my ankle and foot I was looking for, it truly is a let down that it just doesnt last long.

> 3 dayIm left handed and Ive torn my left rotator twice, along with my bicep. To get added support, I bought the KT tape. My thoughts were that with Kerri Walsh being a sponsor, it must be good stuff and Im not overjoyed with it. I had a hard time with this and wasted 5 of the 20 strips trying to get it to stick. To place it for rotator support, its very difficult to place yourself and the tape has a tendency to slingshot back when trying to apply it. It sticks to itself great but it didnt stick well to my skin. Because I paid $15 for the roll, Ill use what I have left, as best I can but I wont rebuy this brand. ** UPDATE 10-08-2017 ** KT immediately contacted me after my review was published and as you can see from their response, offered tips and tricks. Additionally, they offered to replace the roll at no charge. I gladly took them up on this offer and they shipped the replacement roll, free of charge, immediately. The tips and tricks did help but I still have trouble getting this on myself (because of my injury location), but its no fault of KT. My suggestion to you is that if you have a rotator cuff injury that youre trying to support, have someone else put the tape on for you. The instructions inside the package will also give you a picture of how to apply it correctly for that particular injury location. ** Update 2 *** It will help you out tremendously if you buy some alcohol prep pads, which are very inexpensive. Ive found that by wiping down the area with a prep pad and letting it dry, before I apply the KT tape, makes a huge difference. The tape seems to go on better and adhere to the skin better, in addition to easier removal when youre read to take it off. ** Update 3 ** Ive updated my review to a 5 star rating. I dont know if KT has improved the adhesive on their product or if the big difference was made by me learning to apply it correctly. Whatever the situation, this stuff REALLY sticks. Before I apply it, I just pour some alcohol on a paper towel and wipe down the area thoroughly, before letting it dry or wiping it down with another paper towel. Theres no danger of this stuff coming off and Id suggest when you remove it, that you do so in the shower. If you pull it too quickly - like a band-aid, youre gonna pull skin. In my opinion, the precut strips are the way to go and heres a tip: When you start to put them on, peel the backing back only about one inch. This will allow you to get it started without it flopping back and sticking it on itself or on your hands and from there, just slowly remove the backing as you move along the area that youre applying it too. Once Ive started it, I just hold the backing tape with my thumb and index finger and Im moving it along my arm and shoulder. When you get the technique down, its easy to apply yourself (unless youre putting it on your back). KT Tape has been a tremendous help to me. Ive reordered three times and will continue to do so in the future.

> 3 dayBeen using this product for 10 years, ever since I was an injury-prone athlete treating jumpers knee, shin splints, IT band syndrome, knee surgery and shoulder impingement. Worked so well, the staff at Memorial Hermann in Houston doing my physical therapy took an interest for their other clients. Now that Im in cancer treatment, Im very prone to vicious calf and foot arch cramping, as well as vascular pain where the blood vessels just burn and ache in this one spot on the inside of my calf. I was pretty beat up from three airports and in so much leg pain, I could barely stand up to help my family do a puzzle over the dining room table. Also knew I was hiking up a small mountain on the same trip so I was in dire straits Enter KT Tape! Taped my problem arch and soleus muscle where the vascular pain happens and some of the cramping. Hike went off without any pain! When I got to the car, my knees were pretty beat up from the descent and overall body inflammation. Used my old jumpers knee taping technique, and poof, my pain was gone before I got home with takeout. Also, it never came back! This helped me avoid days of knee soreness. The Pro version is totally worth it. Seems more expensive, but if you apply it to clean skin and not over lotion or sunscreen —put that stuff AROUND it—its actually more economical because itll last through multiple days of showers. And because the metallic sheen on the purple just looks that cool!

> 3 dayWorks. Doesnt take the pain away totally, but significantly. Stayed on through 3 lap swims over a 5 or 6 day period. I finally pulled it off. No skin irritation. Will buy again. Even reduced the pain during daily movement / chores.

> 3 dayEase of putting it on. Great instructions and display. 100% true about reducing swelling and pain. I got this for my knee and was able to keep Irvin for a couple of days even after showering did not come off. Easy to get off, I did not use anything to remove vitamins. Highly recommend this product if you have knee problems

> 3 dayI twisted my knee and wanted something light and flexible to give me better stability when exercising and walking. This was a great buy. I would recommend this product. It helped with swelling. I was able to shower and go about my day with ease and greater comfort. The tape stayed in place and was easy to remove — just follow the directions to avoid any skin damage from the adhesive when removing.
