KT Tape, Pro Synthetic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 20 Count, 10” Precut Strips

About six years ago I was having problems with my plantar fasciitis and my pt recommended KT tape. I watched YouTube videos, bought some on Amazon, used it and it really helped. Recently Ive been having problems again. I bought some more. It doesnt stick like it used to. I used to wear it through showers, for a couple days. Now I put it on at night and its loose by the morning. It wont last through a shower at all. I shower at night, scrub my feet clean so its going on a completely clean surface. It helps, but where it used to last at least 3 days now it lasts 6 hours at most.

My daughter is a competitive dancer and injured her shoulder, so before every dance competition, we use this KT tape, which stays on very well, even when you sweat 

Purchased the pro as it advertises that it has better sticking power. Started peeling off minutes after applying. Didnt matter if I had clean dry skin or not. Works when it sticks though.

I have been using the KT Tape off and on for over a year to help with an injury that flares up when I over work it. It does help support the damaged muscles, I just have to be smart enough to know when to say when. At first I bought the regular cotton tape, this time I got the premium product. Very similar. The synthetic stretches a little less, so it feels like it holds firmer to the applied area. The adhesive seems the same to me. The synthetic does last a couple extra days, as it tends to peel up on the edges less than the regular cotton. It also holds less water after a shower than the cotton tape. The packaging was the most significant upgrade actually. The little tub it comes in is nicer than the bare role. I will purchase the synthetic again if I can get it for a small premium over the cotton. If it is more than a couple bucks extra, Im fine with the base model. Check the colors, sometimes you can get a good deal on the ugly ones if you dont mind. :)

My daughter needs this tape daily as she has subluxing shoulders, but her skin is constantly irritated, marked up, and itchy when she removes it. I want to rate it high as it does it’s job, but note the problem with removal.

KT Tape is amazing. I have a hip injury from running that Ive had contrast MRI, physical therapy and pain reliving drugs. Nothing worked expect KT Tape. I can run 8 miles as long as Im wearing it with no pain.

Been using this product for 10 years, ever since I was an injury-prone athlete treating jumpers knee, shin splints, IT band syndrome, knee surgery and shoulder impingement. Worked so well, the staff at Memorial Hermann in Houston doing my physical therapy took an interest for their other clients. Now that Im in cancer treatment, Im very prone to vicious calf and foot arch cramping, as well as vascular pain where the blood vessels just burn and ache in this one spot on the inside of my calf. I was pretty beat up from three airports and in so much leg pain, I could barely stand up to help my family do a puzzle over the dining room table. Also knew I was hiking up a small mountain on the same trip so I was in dire straits Enter KT Tape! Taped my problem arch and soleus muscle where the vascular pain happens and some of the cramping. Hike went off without any pain! When I got to the car, my knees were pretty beat up from the descent and overall body inflammation. Used my old jumpers knee taping technique, and poof, my pain was gone before I got home with takeout. Also, it never came back! This helped me avoid days of knee soreness. The Pro version is totally worth it. Seems more expensive, but if you apply it to clean skin and not over lotion or sunscreen —put that stuff AROUND it—its actually more economical because itll last through multiple days of showers. And because the metallic sheen on the purple just looks that cool!

This tape is not like the one given at Physical therapy. Its not that sticky and falls off when it gets wet.

ive lost over 130lbs and on my way down Ive developed knee pain and had to stop doing alot of exercises i would normally do.but then i found out about KT tape and at first i told myself what can sticky tape do for me and well my answer is it can do alot!!! i wrap my knees up...(my wife does) at least once per week and it last 4 days maybe even 5,and thats with showering everyday(hint use a blow dryer after the shower on the tape) and omg!! i feel the relief right away on the knees and can do alot more in the gym without pain!! it helps so so much! dont think twice order it now!!. side note: my wife uses the KT tape for her plantar fasciitis and she says it helps with pain relief in that area.
