> 3 dayI have lived the last few years of my life with severe back issues. A few issues aided to this, but mostly a car wreck that damaged my spine was the final blow. I had several herniated discs, bulging discs and issues that made day to day living a pain. I did my best to find ways around doing things, but still missed simply working out or even sitting up to watch television. KT tape was recommended to me via physical therapy. I thought the entire ideology was a joke. You mean tape, apply to my body, can make me feel better? It sounds absolutely ridiculous. After a few days, I fell in love, and now, almost a year later, I live daily with strips of tape on my back. KT Tape Pro is my SECOND different tape tried. I had heard a few different things about this tape, and was mainly looking for something that applied more support to my spine. KT Tape Pro does this, as well as applies a fantastic adhesive that lasts for 3-5 days (mine averages about four, depending on my workouts, clothing and showers). KT Tape relieves pain to my spin, allows free movement and adds phenomenal support to my spine. I stand up straight, and have next to no pain. Without tape, it is completely night and day difference. This tape was also used on my fiances sprain foot. She has had several issues with her foot, and reinjured it. After a few days of pain, I decided to apply it to her, and see if perhaps this tape just worked on me. Perhaps Ive become too mentally safe with tape, and was just receiving a false sense of feeling better. Within a few days of having this tape applied, my fiance had zero issues with her foot. Swelling had decreased to none and she could freely move without issues. If you have any sort of body pain, or issues, buy this tape.

> 3 dayThis product works as advertised and is definitely worth every penny. It doesnt come off when exposed to water, it relieves muscle pain, and its reasonably priced. The bonus of this KT Tape Pro is that it comes in a reusable, plastic, compact, cylindrical case that can be used for other purposes. The only downsides are that when you sweat, this KT Tape Pro gets a bit itchy, and tiny bits of tape stick to your skin (and are difficult to remove) when you peel off the tape.

> 3 dayWhen I first used this product, I was going through so much muscle pain from the arthritis in my knees and shoulder pains. I work overnights and this definitely came in handy cause I applied it before I started working and would go through the entire night without pain. When it was time for me to remove the tape, I can tell the difference cause the pain would return. Definitely recommend this product to anyone who is active like myself that needs anything that can relieve pain without medication.

> 3 dayI’m not entirely sure how I functioned without KT tape before. This is a wonderful alternative to bulky braces. If you have any adhesive allergy, like me, I highly recommend starting with skin prep, then laying cover roll over the adhesion area, finishing with KT tape. I’m a big believer in preventative practices but when you have an acute injury, this stuff is miraculous. Their website has a thorough list of videos for various tapings that you can adjust for your needs.

> 3 dayI first bought the regular version of KT Tape locally, in black, and I decided I didnt want it to be obvious I was dealing with Repetitive Stress Injury (RSI, a.k.a. Tendonitis) issues. I could not find the skin colored tape locally, hence the reason for purchasing online. So, this review is for the PRO Sports Tape, but comparing it to the Original...two things I find different than the Original: #1, the pretty little dash lines printed on the tape. (They dont seem to serve any function other than looks); #2, the convenient plastic container with double screw-on lids (which makes it easy to toss into a gym bag). I expected the PRO tape to have a stronger elasticity/different fabric than the Original, but they appear to be the same. And for me personally, I was using the box from my first purchase (of the Original) as a dispenser (with a flap folded in). Which, although the box is not durable like the plastic, is much easier to pull off the strips as you need them. One more issue I realized is the same: the length of time wearing it. The Original recommends 1-3 days and the PRO recommends 4-7 days. But regardless of which one you use, once an edge curls up from your skin it wont re-adhere and your clothes will constantly stick to it and peel it away from your skin further. So even the PRO might need to be changed every day. Also, if either style gets wet, they will stick to your skin OK, but if you layer one tape over another they wont bond together anymore. As for removal, expect either version to pull out a few hairs, so expect it to be a little uncomfortable. As of yet I have not tried the Gentle version, which Im assuming would not hurt as much peeling it off. Also note, with repeated use such as needed for tendonitis, your skin may develop a sensitivity to the adhesive and cause a bit of a rash when you take it off.

Greater than one weekif youre looking for a KT tape, go with this one. I bought the regular one a few weeks ago and it was disappointing since the adhesion was really bad. If you dont do anything it will stay for a day. If you shower/sweat a little bit it will immediately fall off your skin. Today I had the tape on me and I did 1 hour of cardio, and it stayed fine. I just had a shower and at first, one of the tapes fall off I was disappointed again but by the time I wiped the water away, I was able to stick them strongly on my skin.

> 3 dayOnce I figured out how to place the tape, how much tension was needed, and remembered to use alcohol to prep my skin (first), I felt better than I have in a long time. Its difficult to put the tape on by yourself, but I can do it! My knees and low back felt so much better. KT Tape Pro stays on my skin for as long as 2 weeks. Im desperate to relieve my pain, so I use Original (blue) Dawn dishwashing liquid on my knees and low back after my usual shower or bath, then I liberally soak several paper towels with rubbing alcohol and scrub my knees and low back. While allowing the alcohol time to dry, I either use a hot hair dryer or sit in front of a space heater, warming my knees. Only then do I apply the tape and use the backing paper to rub the tape to create friction. I was amazed that the tape stayed on for two whole weeks. I did have to trim a few small areas that curled from my jeans rubbing the tape. Be sure to watch the videos to decide how much tension you need to use. The first time I put it on my back it hurt badly because I pulled it to much. I was able to reapply the tape and warm it with the hair dryer. I was happy that it stuck again. Also the ends do not stick well to tape. Your anchors must be on your skin with no tension. Thank you for this excellent product!
