> 24 hourPurchased these to paint a watercolor for my moms birthday. Very impressed with how forgiving the paints are for shading, and the pigments are bold when needed. Im really pleased and proud of my first-ever wc!

> 24 hourFor the price you would think it would come in a better “palette” than a cardboard box. Most pans are barely half full and you have to continually spray to keep activated. Not worth it.

> 24 hourThe paint had black marks in a lot of the colors. Also the paint pots are not full. They look to maybe contain a quarter of product in each little pot. Disappointed.

> 24 hourJapanese watercolors are different from the rest of the world. These paints never dry leaving harsh lines (barely any granulation), making this set perfect for beginners and professionals alike. Take a peek at the pictures Ive uploaded & and see if you can tell the difference in which paintings I used the Kuretake brand versus European brands. There are only three. Scroll down to see which: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1. The slender house. 2. The girl with the red hat walking her dog down the snowy path 3. The little birdie that just landed on the branch (*framed) Did you guess right?

> 24 hourI LOVE this set. Such elegance! I got the other sets that have different covers too. Such elegant packaging. You do get more paint in a block too. I bought these especially for the packaging though. I wish the prices were a bit lower... Its a good paint, nice colors, neatly and elegantly packaged. Very Japanese. Paints are a bit sticky but watercolor qualities are there. Opaque sometimes and I like that... Most colors are earthy. Not the super vivid bright type (maybe some of the reds are), which is perfectly okay because the colors are super nice. My only complaint is the price. I wish prices prices were slightly lower...
