Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors, 48 Colors

I haven’t used this yet, but I’m on my second delivery of this. The first order several of the paints were broken. On the second order, the pink one was broken. I have no idea whether or not it’s something intrinsic in the paint or the delivery process, but it’s frustrating.

Really love these watercolors I found them very easy to use, with their large pan size, colorful and vibrant!! I would recommend these to anyone thinking of starting up with painting!

They are great watercolors overall. Highly recommend to beginner watercolor artists. I’ve noticed a few issues over the few months I’ve had them though. The most recent one is that the paint is peeling away from the pan and I don’t even use them enough to where it’s a thin layer of paint left. There is a ton of paint still in the pans yet they’re peeling away to the point I can lightly touch it and the whole thing comes out, which is really unfortunate because I can’t reattach them to the pans without the paint cracking which isn’t a huge deal. It seems to only be happening with the colors I use most often.

I love these paints! The colors are gorgeous. The coverage is wonderful.

One complaint - there was nothing in the white block, completely empty!

I am happy that I finally pulled the trigger and purchased these for myself. No fuss about what colors to mix to make this or that, these were my started set and Ive been enjoying them for the past few weeks. The colors are vibrant and the paint is easy to use. Im pleased with my purchase.

This paint is very vivid. I you are the type of person that likes to mix paint before use, this is not for you. On the other hand if you are like me and ignored ever college art professor warning about mixing paint on the paper (or letting colors bleed together) this paint is for you. This paint blends very well.

A wide verity of colors

Loved the selection of colors. The color in the pan is close to the color on paper.
