Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors, 48 Colors

This is the most beautiful watercolor set Ive ever seen.

I have been doing watercolor for the last 6 months, so I decided to amp my game and buy something really nice and special. This is what I bought and I love it! Beautiful colors, creamy texture, and easy to use. I totally recommend you get one!

They certainly arent as smooth, as say, something Daniel Smith would put out but for what theyre asking...it aint half bad! Ive gone though a couple of these sets already and have a hard time finding something bad to say about them. A great variety of color to work from for not a lot of money. Definitely for students to pros looking to try something new without killing your wallet over the higher tier sets.

OMG! These watercolors are excellent; they are easy to use and they adhere to the different papers very well. An excellent buy.

I only swatched it so far, but seems nice, a cross between gouache and watercolors. Im trying to improve my watercolor skills which are pretty low at this point, so Im definitely no expert. The colors seem very vibrant, good for florals. I like how if you keep the paint thick its more opaque like gouache, but add more water and more like watercolors. A bit pricy, though. The big pans are nice, but not filled to the top, which for this price they should be.

Love these paints. Transparent and I love how they move on paper...I do wish the pans were filled more...

The colors are beautiful and the coverage is extraordinary. No streaking. Wonderful pigment.

Well worth the money!!!! Tons of product, much larger palette than I imagined! Very pigmented!! I had this sitting in my cart for quite a while debating because it was so inexpensive… don’t hesitate! Just buy it!
