> 3 dayThe Paint is great, the pans are very loosely placed in the box, and the color names dont all match the numbers on the. bottom of the pans. A wee bit confusing, you just have to go for it it and disregard the color names. Make you swatch and then try and remember to put the paints or keep them in the same place in the box. You cant tell the color of the paint by the color in the pan (some you can, but mostly no) Its a color painting adventure for the patient user. If you are impatient, try another brand.

> 3 dayI saw a painting someone had made on a watercolor site and I asked what paints she had used. I had never heard of this brand but decided to take the plunge. The colors are strong yet water down very well. I just painted a rainbow giraffe for a friend and couldnt believe how colorful it was! Each pan is about 1 inch wide and 2 inches long so you get a great amount of paint. According to a google search, they are also lightfast.

> 3 dayThey certainly arent as smooth, as say, something Daniel Smith would put out but for what theyre asking...it aint half bad! Ive gone though a couple of these sets already and have a hard time finding something bad to say about them. A great variety of color to work from for not a lot of money. Definitely for students to pros looking to try something new without killing your wallet over the higher tier sets.

> 3 dayThe set was really beautiful and nice quality for the cost of it. Really nice that you can take out individual colors out of the box as well to make it more convenient. Really glad that I got it.

> 3 dayI love these watercolors. These are my 2nd set. I originally had the 36 set. Its nice to have new colors and professional colors like cadmiums, cobalt, and quinacridone. They’ve really stepped up their game. I love the big pans and find the paints have plenty of pigment. In my travels I’ve come across many professional artists that own these as well. I look forward to using all these new colors

> 3 dayThese watercolors are great! Im fairly new to using watercolor, but have purchased other watercolor sets and noticed the difference right away. The colors are vibrant, clear and well pigmented plus they activate easily. This is a beautiful set wit 48 full pans. The few metalic colors are beautiful . A couple of colors are a bit opaque...one light gray, white and a lavender. The only down side is that the pans are loose fitting in a flat box and they dont have the color name on the top side of the pans. The color info is on the bottom of each pan and on the box where each one sits. It does come with a chart showing the colors and names that you can refer to. It also comes with a chart with the names and blank squares that you can paint the colors onto. I made the mistake of turning the box over and all of the pans fell out. None were damaged, but it took a bit of time to replace each one into their proper spot, but it wasnt difficult. The box is simple, but very pretty. This would make a very nice gift. This is a quality set and I would definitely order this set again!

> 3 dayThe colors in this palette are exceptionally beautiful. My wife cannot stop raving about how vibrant they are and steadfast. She did not care that they were targeted towards beginners. They worked for her in everything she has applied them to. The size of the trays of color are large and fit larger brushes . As well, there are many many colors to choose from. Knowing this product came from and was Japanese, it makes sense that it was priced appropriately. We both highly recommend getting this palette is you love using watercolors with bold, vivid colors!
